Obviously the dot ticks wouldnt be as high but i would really like to see what would happen if you converted all that AP to WP and just went weapon power and crit. would like to see a damage comparison to them.
Just so you know as well when you do the a one stack flourish with daggers it gives a 15% weapon power buff for 15 seconds and refreshes when you use 2 an 3 flourish.

I wanted to try a hybrid build similar to this but focused less on CP,which would use Circlet of Desire and its set for 10% boost to AP,Wp,MAx hp,which can get you to 4k hp+.At that level you can solo everything in the game with the parries and healing from Deposed king echo/Broodmother SilReth echo
that sounds like a pretty chill setup for expedition farming. I think 3k hp is roughly the threshold to avoid a lot of oneshots in the higher level zones
Yeah, this build is quite strong. I went with different daggers just because I wanted to maintain the venom/poison theme and since I’m not overly concerned with perfect min maxing doesn’t bother me. I’m level 25 at the moment, even with only like half the crit power you have in wrecking everything.
This is nuts! Been following the Ven theorycrafting discord for a while and been loving the crit version of Nightshade but this is just insane. Definitely crafting those daggers as we speak lol. Do you do farming runs with the daggers as well? How do you find they hold up in places like HH farming? Any recommendations/changes for that?
I use the build for everything but if I was minmaxing for farming expeditions I'd probably include more health just because some of those mob animations are painful and the builds super high damage ramps up over time. Nightshade is solid too.
I havent found a single wolf echo yet. ran a looot of hollow heart missions now an wolfes only spawn if u do the big sword event and then only 1-2 spawn and they have never given the echo yet. is there any place where you can find more wolfes?
Really great build! I knew crit had big potential, but was focused on kyros currently. I have the Níghts Edge ready to get in the forgery since 1 week, i think it's about time, even though i still have to level ven :c but als great video overall from showcasing the build, how it performs and layout :)

i think that build can be only because, of bug of max orb you can use, if you see on venom he got 336/300, and on weapon 80 point up from max orb, without this bug, can be a big burst dmg
The extra echo cost just comes from me upgrading echos, the build works totally fine at a base echo level otherwise I wouldn't have wasted the resources.
Quick answer - WP is fine and I'm definitely still testing out everything but if you're building pure crit power your build will naturally lean more AP in my opinion. In this we've got almost equivalent AP and WP. Long answer - Weapon power is an option but the current state of the game has the highest level crit power echos leaning more towards AP+Crit whereas the highest leveled echos for WP lean more towards WP and break power so naturally if you're using the strongest crit power echos the build just leans more towards AP. We're also getting WP buffs from our flourishes and by having a decent mixture of both we're able to benefit even more from the 2 double hit elixirs and crit power while still having abilities that are actually usable. At the end of the day we only have about 2k more AP than WP (and thats without leveling up the WP affinity on the daggers so in reality it's a lot closer). Its a crit power focused hybrid build that gains tremendously from both WP and AP due to crit power so try out different stats that fit your playstyle and see how it goes. Definitely open to discussion and testing new things so let me know if you try it!
@@Soloplayerggz I think the bears in highlands can drop an echo thats crit/wp and is lvl 20 just like talon echo. Might be worth looking into if you want to minimax.
this might be a dumb question, but why would this build work on venomess as opposed to someone like niss or kyros? or does it work on both characters? do the dots that accumulate overshadow the damage that kyros and niss does? this build sounds pretty appealing, but i already have an AP niss built that deals a crap ton of damage. just interested in understanding whos damage comes out on top on this build vs an AP niss build

If you're having problems with survivability you can just add some health echos. It'll work in either mode. Guns also make expeditions a lot easier.Will definitely make some more builds though, thanks for the suggestion!

Tricky question. I think you could try and get these stats but I wouldn't recommend trying to farm the accessories while you're still leveling or you'll just end up having to do it again at lvl 30. You might find it easier to level with a pure weapon power or hybrid build instead but I can't say for sure. Hope that helps.
I haven't maxed all of the daggers so I don't want to say definitively but I'd say right now nights edge and maybe Venom are the 2 daggers I'd rock in this build.
I was going to ask this specific question. Is Venom better for this exact build? I have farmed up the nights edge but not leveled it as I have been using tempest on her thus far. did this get patched i built this and i was doing S4 beast master in like 32 seconds came back for the update and now its like hitting him with a wet noodle >.
Current max level is 30. Accessories drop not based on character level but based off the level of the zone you're doing. So ideally around zone level 2313 you'd be getting lvl 30 accessory drops. Whereas if you did lower than that you might get level 25 accessories or if you did higher you might get level 31+ accessories that can't be equipped yet. Does that answer your question?
id really like to figure out what is the best crit amount like what number does the diminishing returns of the scalling make it not worth it. or like will 8k weapon dmg with 5k crit power will that crit for more than 3k weapon power than with 10k crit power? id like to know what the percentages are not the rating number if that makes sense
For a more balanced build where you're not getting crit passives I think I remember reading some theorycrafting that 4-5k crit rating gives a consistent amount of crits. Don't quote me on it because a lot of the damage formulas in the game are still being worked out and seem to vary from character to character and weapon to weapon.

In my opinion the rush echos just aren't worth it right now. They cost a ton of echo power and while the dread legion echo gives a nice stat boost its very easy to waste the effect and end up with a wasted echo slot and a 45 second cooldown. If they buff rush echos or reduce the cooldowns ABSOLUTELY would rock dread legion.
Brother, I just can't seem to get any Talon Echo other than green !!!! How rare are these blue and purple, or was there an update to where they no longer drop ??
Is there a better accessory set you'd go for that you haven't or don't want to grind for? Like one of those stupid low drop rate boss sets? edit: The fallen archon set seems insane. Probably not worth going for tho considering its a boss set and the chances of getting both pieces with double attack slots is 0.
I'm working on farming all the "rare" sets just to test things out. The tough part about a lot of the sets is they either drop at a way lower level or the individual pieces provide too many wasted stats to make it worth it. For this particular build I think the Hazardous Quarry set would be the one I'd be interesting in trying the most simply because it provides AP and crit power and the individual pieces are pretty good on their own. It's also tough to repeatedly farm for good echo slots. Can the fallen archon set drop at level 28-30? IIRC creed doesn't go up that high but I could be wrong.
@@Soloplayerggz Not sure if it drops that high actually I wasn't even thinking of that. I haven't gotten a piece myself so I've no clue. Only boss piece the game has ever graced me with is from Maras and that's only cuz it took me 6 hours to get that potions recipe. Hazardous Quarry seems pretty strong tho. Not sure if the crit increase would be worth farming out a whole new set if you already have the gloom set with good slots but def seems like a competitive alternative.
I'm still relatively new to the game... but can someone explain to me why he can have an echo capacity of 336/300 on Venomess and 312 out of 240 on those daggers? What did I miss that lets him do that?
I managed to do this as well but I have no idea how. I THINK it happens when you equip low level echo, and then you level it up. This makes it cost more capacity so it just goes beyond.
So if you get your item rate levels in there let's say it's 240... And you max it out with level zero echoes then you can raise the level of the echos and not have echos booted off the item. Effectively making it go beyond or in some cases very far beyond what the level cap was supposed to be.
Probably not in the current state of the game, in my opinion. In terms of upfront damage possibly but with high crit power we're scaling both our AP and WP. So if i dumped a ton of it into WP i'd be losing out on the extra AP damage. Hybrid build works totally fine, I've done a AP/WP/CR build with Nightshade but I think with the current scaling and also the benefit of the elixirs and dagger mastery it feels like Crit power is the way to go. I mentioned it in the video but the reaver woods zone which features more of the higher level echos we want also seems to lean more heavily towards AP. If there was an equally strong WP/Crit power echo I'd definitely give it a shot but the wolf echo + talon echo seems like the best combo at the moment in terms of stat efficiency. Again just my opinion, i'm open to trying different variations so if you thin that works better for you let me know and I'll be more than happy to try it out. Let me know what you think. Cheers
@@Soloplayerggz From what I've gathered from Discord and other content creators, CP doesn't scale good at all. That's why they went WP or AP stacking. A Kyros with 11-13K AP deals 20-25K DMG per skill. Rake or something . And I wonder if you won't get more DMG stacking WP followed by CP on Venomess since the weapon dots(Venom) scale with WP and not AP.
From what I've played of Heroic Kyros, he has fantastic 1 shot potential which is great for skipping phases in a fight like dread legion but in terms of actual DPS venomess runs over him IMO. Both great characters and good boss farmers though and I'll be working on a Kyros build shortly so my opinion might change.

Working on leveling it now. The issue with venom is the animation for its ability is kind of annoying to deal with and you miss out on 1000 ability power. Definitely interested in using it though. Both of them work.
This build is broken but unfortunately it's still Melee and right now it's just far easier and more efficient to run ranged with a gun. How would this build work with Nightshade? Seems like the 2 time weapon hits and crit would still be pretty broken on Nightshade

@@danieltschornyj9373 Talon echos drop from the Talon mobs in any of the Reaver Woods maps. They're a super common enemy so you shouldn't have to do any kind of resetting.
Eh it's early access, I'm not expecting any of the current characters to not go through changes before launch. Just gotta enjoy them and farm while we can you know?

As a new player i've seen a lot of videos of different classes and most if not all use daggers are they OP or is there another reason ?
Does the DOT scale off AP only? Or is it based on the weapon hit as a stat stick?

You could probably use different ones, Nights Edge just has nice stats.
The wolves spawn in the shrouded woods and boon orchard fighting pits that's the best place to target farm them

Wouldnt Bonebreaker echo be better than Wolf? I mean it gives bit less crit power but you can get a ton of them easily

Yes all masterys change depending on the archetype of the character. Ven/Silo have the same, Niss/Kyros the same, Senja/Wingrave the same.

In my opinion the rush echos just aren't worth it right now. They cost a ton of echo power and while the dread legion echo gives a nice stat boost its very easy to waste the effect and end up with a wasted echo slot and a 45 second cooldown. If they buff rush echos or reduce the cooldowns ABSOLUTELY would rock dread legion.

Is there a better accessory set you'd go for that you haven't or don't want to grind for? Like one of those stupid low drop rate boss sets?
edit: The fallen archon set seems insane. Probably not worth going for tho considering its a boss set and the chances of getting both pieces with double attack slots is 0.
I'm working on farming all the "rare" sets just to test things out. The tough part about a lot of the sets is they either drop at a way lower level or the individual pieces provide too many wasted stats to make it worth it.
For this particular build I think the Hazardous Quarry set would be the one I'd be interesting in trying the most simply because it provides AP and crit power and the individual pieces are pretty good on their own. It's also tough to repeatedly farm for good echo slots.
Can the fallen archon set drop at level 28-30? IIRC creed doesn't go up that high but I could be wrong.
@@Soloplayerggz Not sure if it drops that high actually I wasn't even thinking of that. I haven't gotten a piece myself so I've no clue. Only boss piece the game has ever graced me with is from Maras and that's only cuz it took me 6 hours to get that potions recipe.
Hazardous Quarry seems pretty strong tho. Not sure if the crit increase would be worth farming out a whole new set if you already have the gloom set with good slots but def seems like a competitive alternative.

I'm still relatively new to the game... but can someone explain to me why he can have an echo capacity of 336/300 on Venomess and 312 out of 240 on those daggers? What did I miss that lets him do that?
I managed to do this as well but I have no idea how. I THINK it happens when you equip low level echo, and then you level it up. This makes it cost more capacity so it just goes beyond.
So if you get your item rate levels in there let's say it's 240... And you max it out with level zero echoes then you can raise the level of the echos and not have echos booted off the item. Effectively making it go beyond or in some cases very far beyond what the level cap was supposed to be.

Wouldn't you get more DMG is you lower your CP and get more WP ?
Probably not in the current state of the game, in my opinion. In terms of upfront damage possibly but with high crit power we're scaling both our AP and WP. So if i dumped a ton of it into WP i'd be losing out on the extra AP damage.
Hybrid build works totally fine, I've done a AP/WP/CR build with Nightshade but I think with the current scaling and also the benefit of the elixirs and dagger mastery it feels like Crit power is the way to go.
I mentioned it in the video but the reaver woods zone which features more of the higher level echos we want also seems to lean more heavily towards AP. If there was an equally strong WP/Crit power echo I'd definitely give it a shot but the wolf echo + talon echo seems like the best combo at the moment in terms of stat efficiency.
Again just my opinion, i'm open to trying different variations so if you thin that works better for you let me know and I'll be more than happy to try it out. Let me know what you think. Cheers
@@Soloplayerggz From what I've gathered from Discord and other content creators, CP doesn't scale good at all.
That's why they went WP or AP stacking.
A Kyros with 11-13K AP deals 20-25K DMG per skill. Rake or something .
And I wonder if you won't get more DMG stacking WP followed by CP on Venomess since the weapon dots(Venom) scale with WP and not AP.

From what I've played of Heroic Kyros, he has fantastic 1 shot potential which is great for skipping phases in a fight like dread legion but in terms of actual DPS venomess runs over him IMO. Both great characters and good boss farmers though and I'll be working on a Kyros build shortly so my opinion might change.

Working on leveling it now. The issue with venom is the animation for its ability is kind of annoying to deal with and you miss out on 1000 ability power. Definitely interested in using it though. Both of them work.

Is there a reason u used nights edge rather than venom dagger?
Burst damage and stats. Venom is nice too, just don't have it maxed out. Also the venom animation for its weapon skill feels odd.

It was in the shop last week, just wait for the shop to rotate and hope that it's there.

No, you could probably run it with most of the daggers and even the nightshade rifle.

Yeah you could, the damage profile is different but the concept is the same.

This build is broken but unfortunately it's still Melee and right now it's just far easier and more efficient to run ranged with a gun. How would this build work with Nightshade? Seems like the 2 time weapon hits and crit would still be pretty broken on Nightshade

Wolf echos are definitely annoying to acquire. Thankfully talons are pretty easy though.

@@danieltschornyj9373 Talon echos drop from the Talon mobs in any of the Reaver Woods maps. They're a super common enemy so you shouldn't have to do any kind of resetting.
Im at 6k ability and 6k cp just with throwing things together to try, and the damage is pure shit. Like a few hundred a tick.

If you mess up parry timing hollow definitely hurts. A few hp echos solves that though
