This was fantastic Chef AJ!! Dr. Li is a realist who is based in scientific fact and experiential fact. How refreshing he is! I'm sharing this video to all who've been diagnosed with cancer and/or living with the fear of it coming back. Be informed by Dr Li and be your own advocate. For one there are astounding new immunology treatments based on your own tumor sequencing. Who knew?! Because of you we can spread the word.
You are always blessing others with knowledge. May God bless you richly through your journey to make the right decisions for a complete remission of your lung cancer. You are so inspiring!

Chef Aj I was so crushed when you revealed your cancer diagnosis. But I am so glad that you feel ready now to share your battle with your audience who love and support you. I have learnt so much about health from you since I discovered you a few years ago, and I am in awe that during this difficult time, you are using your platform to educate us about cancer. Wishing you complete healing in 2025. From a Jamaican fan.

That was such a wonderful interview. I have watched him before when I was diagnosed in 2021 with stage four breast cancer. I immediately bought his book and started following his diet… So far I am still having only metastases in my bone and on just on letrozole as an estrogen blocker
Radiologist when I go for my mammograms and nurses and other doctors always ask what I’m doing and I tell them it’s an anti-inflammatory diet plus I sauna every day and get my heart rate up between 130 and 150 for 30 minutes every day, but I also do CBDCBDCBDA and I take CBN with CBG and THC at night to sleep so I always get seven hours of solid sleep which is hard when you have hot flashes lol butthe rest is in God’s hands. I just use what he gives me as far as information and knowledge and this interview is awesome! He is an amazing researcher… I wish you the best you’re gonna do so well just follow his diet and modern medicine as much as you can. I know it’s scary. God bless you.

My aunt was a smoker and a lifelong vegetarian and she developed lung cancer. After doing a few Google searches I told her that she should be getting immunotherapy because it made so much sense to me and she ended up having a severe reaction and died as a result of it. It turns out she had a very strong immune system and the doctors didn't take that into account before giving her the treatment so her own immune system killed her. This doctor is smart caring and charismatic and really believes in what he talks about but ultimately he's right in saying it's a new field and it doesn't always work so be careful

A friend of mine had cancer that started as skin cancer then spread. He got two years of imuno-therapy that helped a lot. Some tumors went away and others shrank to become very small He was told that if it didn't cure him and the cancer started growing again that it would not be effective/possible to do it a second time (no idea why this was the case). It did start coming back almost as soon as he stopped the imuno treatment. He was, unfortunately someone who smoked and ate all the 'wrong' foods - as in NOT plant based at all. He passed away a while after that, sadly. But I have always wondered if he would have had a better outcome if he had cleaned up his diet.

Jenny Apple was vegan, non-smoker, and still died from lung cancer. She was a young mother of two, had her own youtube channel documenting her life and cancer journey. She also was not diagnosed for over a year after she reported symptoms (rib pain) to her doctor. He kept telling her to do stretching & yoga. The medical gas-lighting had terrible consequences.

I agree with Dr. Li on the food.I don't agree with what he thinks about chemo. I've had dozens of family members and friends with cancer that have had chemo and if the cancer was gotten rid of, it came back within the year and it was very evasive caused paralysis, burnt the throat, brain fog, etc.,their quality of life did not get better for 90% of them. The one family member with stage 3 that didn't have chemo and ate mostly plants his cancer has not returned in two years. I wish the best for you and may God bless you.

REQUEST - Chef AJ could you please interview Mark Simon who is the founder of the NORI protocol which is a holistic approach to healing cancer. The foundation is a plant-based whole food diet, but more so, it’s a cysteine and methionine restricted diet, then he adds targeted plant “nutraceuticals” that target and kill the cancer. Please please please have him on your podcast. He is so knowledgeable and our group of thrives are a unique and wonderful group. Chris Wark interviewed him, as well as The Stern Method podcast. He’s doing amazing work in the cancer field. Amazing man.
But what about the high fat in nuts/nut butters, avocados??? I’ve read that the fat can feed cancer, too.

Negative vent warning. Went back and watched since I missed the first 15mins. This was 40 minutes of word salad that didn’t provide any value. I know this is an unpopular opinion but thought so live and gave it a rewatch. Everyone was raving in the comments and I swore I must have missed something. I learned absolutely nothing. As a cancer researcher and survivor myself for the past decade he provided zero tangible value compared to the raving comments he was receiving. It was like groupies flocking to a rock star. I still wanna check out his book because he just might be a bad interviewer, but for the first time since watching her lives for 5 years I walked away feeling like I wasted my time on such an important series. This is my only time seeing his content and literally want to know why ppl would say he’s an amazing and great doctor. Like I waited on every word to find value. Ive been sharing with lots of ppl to watch this series. Even medical professionals who wouldn’t normally watch something like this. Really looking forward to tomorrow as radical remissions is probably my favorite and most recommended book for someone impacted by cancer. Just disappointed, but my own fault I realize.

I haven’t watched it yet. But he is a sane player in the nutrition field, which is rare. He is not plant exclusive (which I am) but plant forward/predominant. After watching the whole thing, I don't really understand where you're coming from. I don't really even know Dr Li but after watching this I want to go and watch a lot more of his other videos. Having had chronic illness for over 20 years, it's so rare for a Dr to know a lot about excellent nutrition and the impact it has on the body as both a preventative and treatment. Sure it may be more introductory info especially for those who are newer to natural health, but it's great info none the less that the world needs to hear more of.
