Hi Angela, your skin looks beautiful in this video. I have recently purchased the rouge coco in mademoiselle on your recommendation and it is beautiful I love the formula as much as coco flash. I will have to try it on the cheeks xx

Such a wonderful video, Angela. Your skin is so gorgeous. I absolutely love the Chanel base products. I use a combination of the Water Fresh Tint, The Complexion Touch and No1 to get the perfect amount of coverage for me. I use Light in the Water Fresh and B10 in the other two. I use one pump of the Water Fresh and one pump of the Complexion Touch. I pump them onto an acrylic palette and mix to burst the pigment bubbles. I then apply two thin layers. I really like the brush that comes with the Water Fresh Tint. I allow it to set for a minute or two and then I take a good look and decide if that is enough coverage for me depending on my plans. If I want a little more coverage, I add the No1 to whatever I have left on the palette. I try and only allow a drop or two of the No1 to pump out. I mix and usually tap this mixture where I need the extra coverage. I would encourage everyone to look at their makeup in a different way and sometimes a beautiful foundation is even prettier when applied in a lighter amount or mixed. I have mixed a little foundation into my moisturizer and applied it that way and get a lighter coverage. As I have mentioned before, I am embracing my sunspots and recognize that while I am using skin care to lighten them, I likely won't get rid of them completely so I have made friends with them!
After watching your videos I have taken to looking at my eye shadow palettes differently. I have always used lipsticks as blush but I have found that a lot of my eye shadow palettes contain colors, finishes and textures that lend themselves to being blush, bronzer and highlighter. It is the reason I chose the Hermes eye shadow palette with the pink shade as it is a lovely blush shade.
I find that when I make the effort to get the best base, I end up with a much nicer overall look. You can have amazing eye makeup, beautiful blush and gorgeous lips but if the base is cakey, too oily, wearing off or the wrong shade, you aren't going to have the overall effect you want.
I love this series and have purchased so many Chanel products since finding your channel. You truly epitomize the iconic French woman. Your elegance, refined taste and philosophy towards living and makeup is inspirational and your voice is very soothing. Hi Deb :) Thank you so much for watching! Try it and let me know how it works. You can layer the water fresh tint or you can layer a foundation or a tinted moisturizer on top. Just make sure to wait for a couple of minutes so that the water fresh tint can absorb into the skin before applying the second layer. xoxo

To me skincare is more important than makeup. My mother had me amd my sister from age 12 cleansing and moisturising our skin daily as i got older i got more into skincare and have never stopped.I am definitely going to try this product.

Hi Angela. I’m curious why you use the water fresh tint after bronzer, not the other way around.
Hi Nancy, this gives a more natural no makeup makeup look. You can use the bronzer on after the water fresh tint if you want a more sculpted look. It works great both ways. Just the effect is different. xoxo

Chanel ultra Le teint foundation is my favorite Chanel product. I have tried other foundations but always come back to this. I also love the poudre universaille loose powder. I wish Chanel would bring back this line in the compact they used to have. The Les beige doesn’t give me a matte finish. You mentioned the sheer powder in Les beige ..is that a newer option in that line or is there a matte powder compact now available?
Hello :) Les Beiges compacts come in two different finishes: there is Les Beiges healthy glow sheer powder - this is the one that I used and these have matte finish. And the other one is Les Beiges Healthy glow luminous color - these have reflective particles and they are glowy. xoxo

Hi, new subscriber here, looking for advice on what Chanel eyeshadow to get. From what I understand so far, the Tisse is the most loved and understated, which I prefer. My complexion is light, and I believe I have a warm olive undertone, pigmented eyelids, and pigmented lips. In other words complicated! My skin is dry. I've been looking at Tisse Rivoli, Tisse Vendome, and Tisse Cambon. Am I looking at the right color combinations? I am forty-five and only recently got into makeup. So far, I have some Westman Atelier but no eyeshadow yet. Any advice would be helpful.
Which moisturizer did you use? Was it water based? Also did you use a primer?
Hi Angela, I have got the lightest shade of the Chanel water tint. But just as you, I am between shades and need to mix it with a darker shade. Because the water tint is quite expensive I don’t want to buy a second one. I wonder if you can mix it with a tinted moisturizer and how you would do that. Mix them on the back of your hand? Or rather layer it over the tinted moisturizer?
Hi Regina :) I like to use the water fresh tint first. It works as a gorgeous primer and then apply the tinted moisturizer or foundation on top. It works beautifully. If you can, wait for a couple of minutes after applying the water fresh tint and then follow with your tinted moisturizer. That way you will get the best results. Try it and let me know how it works. xoxo

Hello I just found your Chanel I’ve been looking for RUclipsrs that review and apply Chanel. I’m 61 with tan cool skin and enjoy the simplicity and natural beauty of Chanel. I have sample the ultra velvet blurring foundation but then when I went to purchase I was told it was being reformulated ?? Would you know anything about that? Thanks
Do you sometimes use the complexion touch as a concealer to wear with the water fresh tint?
Hello, yes, this is a great option to get more coverage under the eyes. I love the complexion touch and I usually use it as a concealer. That's how it was initially meant to be used and for that reason the brush of the complexion touch is smaller and fits perfectly under the eyes, xoxo
