Your TTT team did a great job all day. It was a sprint and a marathon. The coverage from your masters and Levy on-site was a fantastic combination. Congrats all around.
So many issues with the boards lagging behind, bad camera angles and more. I stopped watching really early from the start because of the endless issues. Good luck with future streams and hopefully get these problems fixed!
Agreed! The computer chess board coverage of each game is non existant in this tournament. I know it's just blitz chess but there should be better coverage of these games.
Please stop saying this. They need to hear the truth. If you think this was a good broadcast, maybe you don’t watch many chess broadcasts. This was the most unprofessional shitshow I’ve ever seen
Magnus greatness - Can regin rapid, blitz and classic together while Pragg and others somehow beat magnus once or twice in classic but crack down in blitz or rapid.
You need to the delay the live stream to the commentators to ensure that you can get the moves in time. That way blitz games can be more enjoyable. This is what ALL major sports and events do. Delay the livestream to get your ducks in a row. I came to watch magnus, I don’t care if my stream is 15 seconds delayed.
you guys are at the beginning, but great start; solve the lagging of moves, especially in time scrambles; Levy is fun with the interviews and not only; keep that up! Kaja, try not to sound like Fox News with trumpeting out news (ex: Dubov, Jean saga at the start of it) until you know something about them. I hope you guys can stay original and consistent with it. Good luck!
Please take this as constructive criticism, but honestly this stream was very bad. The board just has to be fixed! And yiu can't blame the lagging and delay on New York and fide and etc because on chess24 it is instant and even sometimes a second ahead of the love footage! So the problem is with your app, you probably have to delay the love footage a few seconds so your board can catch up with it. It's not nice to see moves played on the footage and not on the board and then the actual footage being like 5 moves ahead. I think in classical you got away with it but in blitz you need to find a solution. Also you should be able to show variations on your board rather than just speaking them aloud, editing your board should be a thing that's integrated in my opinion.
I just wanted to add that other than that the streams are very good, good commentary with nice conversation, very good interviews and I love the idea of them and especially when you bring someone that may not be very well known to many people, good job by Levy. Nice chemistry between you guys.
Agree 100%. Other streams are getting these basics correct. Don't know why the time shows for one player and the other not... Time running down while 10 moves have been played... It's extremely annoying. If not for the Levy interviews I would be watching on a different stream. Also your, what day it is and round is often outdated from the previous day. Make a checklist that you go through to make sure what is displayed is updated etc etc... It's like the stream points it out and then it is updated.
@@RoelofaCoetzeeoh yeah definitely I forgot about the times, that is annoying also. And I even think like personally the player times are not very visible 😂 Like I always find myself looking for them even though I know where they should be but maybe that's because they sometimes disappear as you said
As a chess fan…and also a basketball fan….why not have a TOP 16 instead of just a TOP 8??? That way you have you more players who you can root for on Day 2 and avoid situations where Dubov and Naroditsky have to sit out when they should have been allowed to play on Day 2. More players = more fun chess to watch!!! Just my $0.02….
7:02:44 This is why it's way more fun to have Russians dominating chess versus the Indians. The entertainment factor is through the roof. So is the crazy
Lifelong chronic lateness is a symptom of ADHD, a neuro-atypical condition that is intellectually helpful for the activities that the person with it Hyperfixates on, but can create chaos in your overall life outside of Hyperfixation activities. Chronic lateness also a symptom of C-PTSD and other mental/emotional conditions. I am not a doctor, and I’m not saying Magnus has any of these. But if you do have chronic lateness, it’s not about laziness or moral failing. I’d talk to a doctor about it if it affecting your life or real with other people negatively.
I was watching most of this, but holy moly. The drama lately has been amazing. The one complaint that most people are having is with the board. It was a little difficult to keep up with games; I'm hoping you guys can fix the issue. Also on the part of the tournament, not having tiebreakers just makes no sense. Like, you made the game less fair because you didn't wanna host a few more games? Even if the event went on "too long," most people would agree that ensuring fairness, in such an important competition, should be top priority. But I'm a 400 elo player so what do I know lol
Dubov cares more about the integrity of the game than his own personal legacy. Hans cheated online to make himself look stronger than he was. The two are not comparable. Hans is a joke
Very nice commentating of a great event, but honestly with this crappy board technicality I cant find myselph watching this to the end nor voting this up.
The computer chess board coverage of each game is non existant in this tournament. I know it's just blitz chess but there should be better coverage of these games.
This was the worst chess broadcast in the history of the world. You need professional commentators that aren’t so reliant on computer evaluation. These guys were the worst I’ve ever seen
Hard to follow games. The board is way behind. And the camera angle is weak (cannot see enough) to follow the game or the time. Terrible job. Sorry, I love chess but this is impossible to follow.
This feels like a very elitist channel... Not even a single player from the women's tournament called for an interview.Even Rapid champion Humpy wasn't called for an interview. Edit:- I see that Levy has taken an interview with Humpy only after she has won the championship. Out of 3 days of rapid and 1 day of blitz they were able to invite 1 women champion. THANK god she proved herself capable and elite enough to be invited for an interview. Are there any other women candidates that got invited? How can you prove that this channel is not biased or elitist or has certain favourites.
Even Carlsen played Niemann, who accused him of cheating before. Sport is about competing, especially World championship, Dubov should have played Niemann, at least draw him if he is uncomfortable to play Niemann. So Dubov deserves to be out of quarterfinals, congratulations to Duda and Murzin to pass to next stage..
Tied for 1st and doesn’t make the cut? That’s a horrible format. Anyone tied for first should make the cut guaranteed. Even if it’s 20 people, they should all make the cut.
The relay is so slow with the commentators guessing at what's going on pretty much makes this unwatchable. Continuing to play a lost position with the hope of a "miracle" or winning on time is not only disrespectful, disrespectful to both your opponent and the game, it's also downright cowardly. That said, Kudos to Levi. His couch interviews are great.

The live board coverage is cool !!! Maybe the live board camera can be raise a little to show the squares a bit better and maybe even the players👀
You know it's FIDE who manages it lol
Thank you for the Blitz Championship coverage, Take x3 channel! o7
Exciting day of chess. Take Take Take has assembled a great team for these broadcasts

Dubov did the right thing
It's obvious with this system that some players make it to the last 8, simply because they had weaker opponents. This system is not fair.
