I never install a used pump until I take it completely apart and make sure all is well.
All truck's with a Cat mechanical engine wire up the Jacobs Brake from power, fuse, clutch switch, throttle switch, on off switch, selector switch out to the brake. KW trucks works off relay's using a ground system. Relay for the front and relay for the rear brake.

Yeah, I knew I was gambling on the used pump. I normally would have had it gone threw first but I decided to go ahead and put this one on as the pump shop was extremely busy and it was going to be fairly costly. The guy I bought the pump from told me it was in good shape, so I decided to trust him. Hopefully that doesn't bite me down the road! Haha!
And yes, the Jakes on a mechanical cat are pretty simple as far as wiring goes.

No mashed fingers on the install... I'd already smashed them on the removal! Haha!
