@Thomas Creator going thicker than you think you will need is good as far as safety but also adds weight. You can work out the centrifugal forces from the blade weight and centre of mass. Then you can use the cross sectional area to calculate the of tensile strength of the parts. What you have done looks good but if you can check the numbers it will give you confidence in your machine.
Please blend those scribed scratches out of the side plates. The alloy you are using is terribly intolerant of fatigue and you have just scratched a a whole load of stress risers into one of the most heavily stressed parts of the airframe. it will kill you if you do not repair it.
