People who blame bad luck are literally clueless because statistically there's only 2.1% to land a particular rate up 5 star character.. we are not even talking about 6 stars here, also there's no pity for 5 stars so that is a fixed rate which is absolutely horrible. Also, hoyo games are the lowest threshold so only being better than that just isn't good enough.
I always find it hilarious when people come from Hoyo games (because it was the first gacha for a lot of people) and think that Hoyo rates are somehow 'good'. xD

I mean saving double the guaranteed pity is what you want for any game that you really really want the gacha. Re1999 imho does it better than many others by having no limited characters. All new release characters go into the standard pool ~4 months after release. Plus re1999 runs concurrent standard rate ups with all rate ups. So yeah you “should” be able to eventually get the 6* you want guaranteed f2p
F2P I did the initial 30 pulls & ran with Eternity, Sonetto & Dikke. Got Melania with a single pull (expecting nothing). She didn't blend well with my original trio so she's benched since I apparently need a 2nd team somewhere down the road.
I got P1 Melania and a bunch of 5 stars from around 130 pulls. Was thinking about swiping just to get her to P2. This video motivated me not to. Thanks, guy.

Reverse1999 deserves praise for a lot of things, but saying its gacha is good or generous is delusional. I remember the day i was shocked to find out that every 10 pulls guarantees a FOUR star and above, not a FIVE star. I expected the system to be the same as arknights when i saw the 2 star fo 6 star rating system.
AK does have the SINGLE guarantee for a 5 star or 6 star in the FIRST 10 pull, but other that that the only pity was for 6 stars after the 50th pull with a 2% step increase for each pull without 6 star to the base chance of 2% (aka a 100% guarantee at 99 pulls) R1999 does have a similar pity for 6 stars starting at 60 pulls, 1.5% at base + 2.5% for each pull after 60 w/o a 6 star but jumping to full guarantee at 70 pulls. Meanwhile you’re at least guaranteed a 4 star or above every 10 pull for R1999. What you might be thinking of is the spark system which arknight didn’t have until after the Cremation Last Wish was implemented, a year after launch.
You are getting a 6* pity guaranteed every month if you have VIP and if you don't 1.5 months for one hard pity. Considering it has no weapon banner and that the fact that all banner pity carry forward, I would call it generous yeah.
