@Mini Cooper Trooper Adam Lambert sucks balls, I would listen to this guy in Freddie's place any day...... He's slower paced but has Freddie's passion and emotion..... Lambert was just a cheap replacement to keep the gigs coming. Some bands like Motorhead realized that when Lemmy passed, Motorhead should be laid to rest as well so as to not tarnish a well deserved legacy and go out on top.....let's face it, who could you possibly get to replace Lemmy's one of a kind voice and singing style and do the music justice?......you can't. Queen should have died with Freddie...... It would have been the best tribute that they could have givin him. Sometimes money rules over good judgement and morals.

Rodrigo Silva I love him and I like him singing with the band better than Adam Lambert. Rogers has sold and even though Adam is humble and everything, he’s a little bit over-the-top to be at his age and a new performer with the band. Paul Rogers is more experienced and I like the smoothness of his voice even though he doesn’t seem nearly with the range that Freddie did.

@@montereyharris1277 Adam is an Amazing Singer. He has a great vocal range, an incredible vocal hability and technique.
Furthermore, according to Brian and Roger, Adam is the only singer they have ever seen who can sing ALL the songs in Queen's repertoire on the original key! Queen's songs are difficult to sing and Adam does it with praise.
Even before working with Queen, Adam was already a successful artist, with gold and platinum albums and singles around the world.
Find out more. See the opinion of music critics and other artists about Adam's vocal potential ... He has several awards and a Grammy nomination for his vocal performance.
Additionally, Adam has a great stage presence and knows how to handle crowded arenas and stadiums.
NOTE: Axel Rose, Robert Plant, James Brown are also screaming in your opinion ??? They have a high vocal range and use this feature ... It's beautiful!

Freddie was exceptional - lets be honest - BUT...the technique, feel and voice and in fairness in his 60s here - is just unreal - does something to me - gets me emotional every time - and I don't think Freddie ever had chance to sing this live which means its special. Adam Lambert has an unreal voice too - but the history, gravel and tone in Paul Rodgers voice is next level - one of the best of All time

I see a lot of comments saying don't compare to Freddie. Well, I actually think that in terms of vocal performance on stage, live, Paul is up there with anyone. Remember this is him at a rather mature age, and he still sounds amazing. I love Freddie, but I would like for anyone to refer me to a stage performance where Freddie performed one of the more difficult queen songs as they sound on record. It's not easy to find. So don't compare Paul to Freddie's record performance of this song. Sadly, he wasn't in a state to perform this song live.

Great performance! Must have been amazing to be there live. I do think though, that from a sentimental standpoint, this song will always and forever belong to Freddie. He never got to sing it live, which is a shame. And even though Brian did not intend for the lyrics to connect to Freddie's impending death, you cannot help but connect it. The way Freddie sang this song so beautifully and with such a haunting edge - and only MONTHS before he died -- well, that just won't ever be forgotten.

Queen in all her splendor. Honored the legacy of Freddie without copying him. Owe nothing to the past.

He doesn't have to be close or something to Freddie. He is just P. R.

I truly wish I'd have gone to see them when they toured.
You got Queen songs, Bad Company songs and Free songs with a Beatle song thrown in.

They didn't want Paul to be the next Freddie. They just wanted to continue jammin as queen and they all respected Paul as a singer and so do I, Free is one of my all time favorite bands. Paul even said he knew he couldn't fill Freddie's shoes. He just wanted to respect him but keep his own style. No one can replace Freddie and they didn't want to they just wanted to jam, you can't expect them to quit music because Freddie died, I am glad they are keeping Queen alive. I love them all

I love Queen and dearly miss Freddy. I also am a lifetime fan of Paul as well, but I never listened to this until now because i didn't want to be dissapointed, and I am not, it's great.

Hell yeah! Paul kicked azz. He sang as himself and man did he nail it. He did not try to replicate Freddy. He sang it with his own style. Rocks❤

When Paul sang with Queen I could not accept him because he sounded so different. Today I see his versions of the songs among the best they ever did. He‘s a great singer and a great musician. „My soul is painted…“ is so beautifully sung…
