- Alan, brother Bernie, father Tom and mother Jean can all be seen performing in these 4 taped segments from Petty Harbour in the late 1980s - part of a longer, and highly recommended, archival video which can be found here: • Video . Priceless footage.
Excellent find. Thanks for sharing. The segment with Bernie and Alan reminded me of segments in Alan's book, "Boy On Bridge".
I love the words of this song. I feel the true love🤟💯❣❣

That was wonderful! What a great keepsake of the family!
Love this . Thanks for sharing
Tom's song about the Aussies at Gallipoli is SO sad. Not surprising to hear Tom sing it as the Newfoundland Reg. was there, too.
The pogues do a great version
Love them glasses Alan, LOL
Gaelic roots run deep in Newfoundland.
wow!
Fantastic!!!
Just came across this! Has Alan seen it? He'd love it!
Love Toms version of The Band Played Waltzing Matilda
That's cute,,,,
He is the non rankin Street singer who is gbs singer.
The song Tommy does is "The Band Played Waltzing Matilda" not to be confused with our Australian song "Waltzing Matilda" which is about a swagman by a billabong (i.e. man camping in a swag/sleeping bag by a creek). 🦘
