It's crazy that this was six years ago. Much appreciation for the comments and support. This was a compulsory performance for all year 10, 11 and 12 students, including many who had never been in a musical item before. It was a massive school effort. I'm forever grateful that I was able to belt out the lead vocals for this. It's always good to visit this vid every couple of years and relive the moment. Keep carrying on everyone.🚶🏽👌🏼

Holy shit. Has the drummer ever heard this song before? Has he ever played drums before? Fire the drummer!
To those of you saying this is terrible, I agree it doesn't sound all that great in some spots, but I feel like it's more of a sound quality issue than the band or choir themselves. The guitar, drums, etc. do match the song well as far as I can tell, but the sound levels could definitely use some adjusting.
I would also say this just isn't the best song for this style; the lead singer does pretty well with the solo parts, but the chorus and everything sounds odd to me when it's being sung by a choir, especially at the beginning. I wouldn't say they're bad, not at all, just that I think this song is better suited for a small band.
In any case, I do enjoy this performance and think everyone did a good job, and I appreciate all the work and effort I imagine went into rehearsing and putting everything together. c:

@fsalgadomaia. Thats a fair enough comment. But in all fairness, the "choir of 300" is actually just every single year 10-12 at the school (which is not a music school). The conductor has 4-5 rehearsals with them, most of whom have never had any musical education, let alone singing practice. When you consider that its far more impressive

I liked it but the guitars took it over too much drowning out how many singers ? lol That could of been massive the power of all those voices decent but could of been better by the way glass is half full hahaha
Great effort, but the instrumental bits were so disjointed from the choir. This could be so good, but it's like two different acts.

There are plenty of rock songs that would lend themselves well to a choir and symphony accompanyment. This is not one of them.
I haven't played drums properly in 3 years, I'm 17 and can play that perfectly. It's not that hard

I've been a guitarist 33 years, a drummer for 29 years. The song isn't all that difficult. That drummer is awful and he's playing that song incorrectly.
