I used to embroider in very specific places on very bespoke (and expensive) garments, and needed to make multiples of them, identically, even years later. When I need to do an odd placement of embroidery, I use a "sublimation wax chalk" to mark the centres (vertical and horizontal - marked through the entire hoop) of where I want the embroidery to go. This chalk disappears when the product is ironed. Your software will probably allow you to print off a "proof sheet" at 100% size, this is great for planning your placement. I'd often print off two of them, one for filing, and one for cutting up. Great use of the sticky stabilizer, the embroidery looks great.
In your text box option in chroma there is a drop down option on the bottom right corner. It says circle. You use the little dots for sizing and shaping. Chroma has a lot of helpful videos on RUclips.
How to curve text in Chrome Imspire. Type the name, then before selecting apply, go down to the type menu. Select circle then click apply. To turn the name so it is facing the right way, go to the menu at the top and click flip.
So cute. I have a question. I saw videos about floating and they close the hoop with stabilizer. Then they embroider on top of the hoop, Have you embroidered that way. Maybe it needs to be a bigger item to float that way. And in the beginning you might of mentioned it that way and I missed it. My first grand daughter will be here in January. I’m excited to embroider her things.
@@gabrielebroom383 I've done that before but either because the item I was embroidering was large or there is shaped to the product were I can't hoop it. Hope that makes sense, congratulations on your grandbaby that's exciting

This was a very fiddly job. Your embroidery orders are very diverse. Challenging but certainly not boring.

@@carolynstrachan953 OMG I'll need to try this, thank you
You can curve font in Photoshop then import a bmp. into Inspire, but then you gotta digitize over it instead of using text.

Thanks , great info. I always struggle with that.
