I had a similar thing happen to me with a customer-provided hat. The fabric on the hat actually tore from the needle breaking. Thank you for sharing this video. It makes me feel so much better. :D
@@jamemccall6958thank you I try to keep my video light hearted ☺️. You'll done fine, just make sure the 3d puff font is thicker and don't go small like I did.
Tape your foam down. It doesn't look like that font is for foam. If it has an outline satin it does it before the run and the foam. It should of had a run through the center to hold down the foam. Then it should have done the satin over the foam.
its not your fault it went wrong..... you're using a Ricoma. After using a Ricoma, then moving to a shop that used other machines, my job got A LOT easier.
Your neighbour will love his hat. Turned out great
Thank you for showing us your true experiences! As long as we learn from our mistakes it’s all good!

Hi Brittany. What size needle do you typically use for the hats?
You are so funny! I am watching this after midnight (can't sleep) knowing I have a puff hat to make tomorrow. Now I am really nervous!

@@LillianRamirez-c9h it is a 3d foam font but the font was WAY to small, I appreciate the information
