Armor changes make it feel stronger than it actually is. Everything is smoking people right now. In this video it was just Zerg leeching/clean up kills. It’s still not going to consistent burn people down in 1vX

it seems like a buff cause ppl got no decent gear. Fireball and incinerate nerf. Pillar small buff. Some passive perks are giving a wrong impression on the weapon
time to buy a Flame protection amulet

Sold a stam, health, fire pro amulet for 350k yesterday.
Check nwdb, there's a set of good jewelry from the new expedition with one being a flame protection amulet. Though one of the rings has keen, fire damage and burning lol

That damage and kill ratio can be done on live chilling with FS/VG, and it is more useful. Even after dying 6 times, you'll do more for the teamfights.
Sad seeing this game go further and further away from melee and just becoming people lobbing spells at each other or shooting bows.

magical weapons in this game are made frankly bad, there is no impact from the weapon
So many players crying over fire staff rework and calling fire staff users "meta chasers". But what about if you've been a fire staff user ever since? 🤷

FS was allready strong af all armor changes are good but fking hell bb and fs still untouched while other weapons nerfed to ground ofc hatched,gs and musket but fking hell now everyone going to play bb and fs

I was watching turiku day of patch release and he said elemental aversion might be a must due to the massive buff to makes. Weapon wise, I have no clue. Rapier maybe?

Next try medium or heavy flamethrower with heavy attack after stacks. I’m telling you simpthrower is the new meta
sadly no, flamethrower is getting outshined by pillar by far, pillar is finally a ability worth running over flamethrower.
@@Obtite It literally works exactly the same as before except you lose 45% dmg on it in the next patch, my casual friend :) Flamethrower has always been the only option to play fs for casuals and it's still gonna be. A bit faster casting time and a bit wider area won't change the fact that it is a skill that you need to aim. Like the guy in the video from 0:45 This is what 99% of the fs users do. Staying far, casting skills randomly.. I could eat 2-3 of these kind of players with my fs.

Seems so impersonal. Randomly getting kills with AoEs. No where near as satisfying as watching you slash people to death.
Both builds should work right? On live you win or lose an opr depending on how many greatswords / bruisers you have.

Mage builds in general are so boring to watch and play in this game, you are literally sitting there spamming bullshit aoe abilities and thats it... Where's the actual gameplay?!?

ie maximum 4-5k (including people who farm, run, dungeon. If we do not count PVE players, you are max 400-500 people) :D
@@neverhood6744 I agree on the bruiser and musket gameplay being boring as well, thats why I dont play those builds either lol, thats personal preference i guess so yeah it doesnt really matter, but the main issue here is, firestaff or mages in general didnt need such a buff, they were already good enough, and for those who were complaining about firestaff being weak, they were just trash at it. All they had to do in this patch was, remove shit defy death from hatchet, nerf musket and greatsword and thats it, but no, they decided to kill the game...
People really turned NW into a WoW . Mages everywhere and some DeX to shoot..pewpew!!!

Forums complained about bowpr and now we had firepr. From one ranged meta to another 😂. I swears theres no in-between with these devs. Will definitely be taking a long break from nw until this meta is over. Rip 4mill worth of resi/freedom/shirking light melee gears and bis axes/hammers :(.

While humans want balance, AGS kills classes that are in balance and makes classes that need a few changes super OP.

I think you may be overreacting a bit bro. If you're talking about the bruiser nerfs bruisers are the best build in the game on live. Plus I don't think the FS is going to be as broken as everyone expects I think you'll only want a few of them in a war anyway, and these changes aren't even live... The damage numbers could be tweaked man chill out.
@@LilAlbus dude i don't trust AGS at all. We have seen in almost every update that they do not understand this game.
They have doomed us to the range meta for 7+ months and have lost thousands of players as a result.
They buffed the Range meta that people never wanted before with the PTR update even more.
Why do you think thousands of people quit the game after this update note?
@@ImZerk To be fair, before the range meta (and even still now if the ranged weapons weren't getting any love) the meta is still WH/GA. Hop into any war and it's those two weapons, healers and Ice gauntlet. I'm a FS main and I like the changes but even I can tell the buffs to it aren't THAT insane, it's just PTR everybody and their mother is using it at the same time. Take any weapon and have 40 people using it it's gonna seem busted. Hope you come back soon, people in seats keep the game alive.

Good i quit this game.... nerfing everything and now we see only FS everywhere, and they just 2 hits you and you die with full resilient, fire protection gear XD amazon is really shit and balance games...
