its like the drummer is trying to catch up the whole time. then the 'never should have let you go' part happens, and he catches up, then its just beauty. i think they deserve an award for one of the most amazing songs in the history of music. the whole album is excellent, but this song is something else, so dirty epic.
This song is so moving I cannot even express it. Every time I feel myself slipping away from God, I listen to this song and it reminds me how great of a Lord I have and how He will always take me back through all my faults and failures. He still loves a person like me. I cant even explain how amazing of a feeling that is. Haste is and will always be a band that holds a special place in my heart.

This popped into my feed today. Haven't thought about Haste in 15 years probably. I was never a fan. But back in the day they opened for everyone it seemed. I know I saw them at least 6 times at Rocketown in Nashville. One memory that sticks out was they had a couple on stage during the clean part and he proposed. That was cool. But then every other time I saw them alot of preaching. And that made me feel gross.
Loved this when I was 14, now I’m 30 and I still jam the hell out to it.
