Hey Greg, thanks. all of the 2D and 3D files are provided for download to Patreons, I'll be adding the imperial badge soon the detailed disk in the right hard drive is already available, I had thought about modeling some back plates based on the Hard Drives too.. finally the 2D files created for the etched detail will also be added also in the next few hours. 👊
I brought the vintage collection slave 1 but the problem is that the laser cannons are way to big so I was wondering if you could 3D print me some scale cannons and if so how much thanks 👍
Hello! I'm sure I could help, or know someone in the community that could! Send me a message on Insta if you have it @rebelbuild or drop me an email james@jculley3d.co.uk
Turned out amazing, mate :) when you're masking it helps to spray down the colour of the part to fill on all those micro gaps the paint likes to sneak into, (like your black plastic) and then spray the colour your wanting (like the grey.) I've had a mind to try spraying a varnish in case I'm masking over gradients or tricky colours I didn't have on hand but this theory is untested. Use with caution. Can't wait for another build, Cheers!
If the Imperial is supposed to be clean does that mean the term "Rebel Scum" might refer to the dirt and weathering on rebel equipment? I think I will forever now call weathering applied to non imperial items "Rebel Scum". Ok it is time to apply some rebel scum to this data pad.
Nice build, and fun video. I wish I had your 3D design skills. I’d never thought of using the hard drive back plates before. That’s brilliant!
Thank you it was a lot of fun, let me know if you ever need a file, something custom making up! Happy to help!
Good stuff as always! Especially the stellar performance from that VanOaks guy 🤣
Thank you Derek, and I totally agree that dude's performance was incredible 🤙👊😀😀
Really love this James. Funny stuff and the prop turned out amazing!!!

I'm a new sub and I love all these star wars builds I'm a big fan of the smugglers room as well and the zombie stormtrooper was mega 👍
Thank you so much for subbing over here! Agreed the SR content rocks!!
I need to try something like this. I have a few old hard drives & some old VHS players. I should use them to make stuff :D
Definitely, it's quite liberating!! Will you share your build process somewhere?
I legit thought the Empire was jamming your calls because they can't stand the thought of grime in their equipment lol. Great prop!
Haha which would have been the perfect punchline... To be continued maybe... Haha thanks for watching 👊
Awesome stuff Happy Halloween
Thanks for checking out the video!
They look awesome 😎
👊
Very nice. And clean. What is the two red flashing lights on the front made from?
Thanks! That's a LED badge and it comes with a graffiti mode! amzn.to/3EvamQ6 (that's a UK associate link) but you can search for the same product 😀

@@RebelBaseBuilds I was too busy weathering the razor crest sorry
I need to find bulk hard drive lots. Those parts looks awesome!
Excellent video! Are you going to release all of these files on your patreon?

A great bit of stolen kit from the empire for your base.
Love that narrative!
That was brilliant wee video at the start! (I think Richard stole the show though lol) The data tapes turned out great.
Hahah totally agree. Tis why I saved him to last!! Such a funny guy LOL. Thanks for watching bud 👊
"I could get used to this Imperial theme".
Well you DO have the accent for it... ;)
Haha... Yes loved how they portray the imperials as English haha
The blinking lights on the right side of the prop... where did you get/how did you create those?
If you search Amazon for digital led badge 👊

@@RebelBaseBuilds hi James just wondering whether you received my email ?
I don't know why you didn't use the most common weathering trick of [REDACTED]
😱 Richard??? Richard?? What's going on.....
