So comments good or bad, personal or inpersonal to you, are parts of world's opinions. Each of the commentator has different view or opinion because of their own personal background, environment, life experience, educational and economic level, religious beliefs or none, countries, sex, age, etc. Just because one commentator made statements about God, you don't have to answer personally. Many comments are not for you, but for the public viewers. In a story, 10 viewers will have 10 comments, good or bad. Many view or listen to your and many other Hmong storytellers on youtube for fun, for life lesson, for killing times. We all know that the person who gave you the story does not tell everything exactly as it happened, so they too may exaggerated or don't remember everything. So the commentators don't live their lives, and the commentators make comments briefly as their see the stories. Some of the stories are self serving, others are to attack others, and so on. So my advice is don't pay attention too much to the comments and make it personal to you. If any one would personally attack you as a bad storyteller, or this and that, then I think you should reply. But most of the comments are the person in the story or for others as general discussion. If we go to a Christian hospital, which there are many, the doctors are not allowed to announce that they are Christian, unless the patient asked them personally. You are the same, here you are just a Hmong storyteller, you don't need to announce in every story that you are a Christian, until a commentator asked your personally. As Christian myself, we have to be able to separate our jobs and roles in the community from that of our Christian duties. Many Christians are doctors, lawyers, engineers, singers, artists, football players, government leaders, etc, yet we don't know that they are Christians.
