I learnt cooking when I was 30... I never wanted to cook... but once I started to cook... I love cooking and I cook really well... And people cooking is life skill .. one should learn to cook .... its just like swimming or driving....
A self sufficient independent modern woman is not only one who earns money... Knowing Basic cooking doesn't make u regressive. Hats off to women cooking and working everyday

The so called " Indian food" is actually watery and spicier copy of food from Northwestern regions ( Afghanistan and Pakistan) that spread to North India via invasions. British created India after conquering many nations and introduced its food as indian food to the world.
One of the best show ever I seen with my best Sanjeev chef and twinkle ji.
It was so gd to see sanjeev kapoor...but interview was kind of missing parts....many questions but not aram se....in haste....twinkle was lovely and super excited this time...want more

Working women/men both cook so it doesn't make anyone a less of a person. Be thankful for the life you live many others would love to be in your shoes.
As a chef working in USA. I would really like to add that, yes there’s a lot of discrimination against women in the hospitality industry especially in the kitchen. Even in the US I’ve experienced discrimination first hand. Women are not taken as seriously as men are. So I can really imagine how it must be in India. I went to culinary school in India and did industrial training there as well. So women aren’t perceived as professional in the kitchen. It’s a very male dominated industry. As a woman you have to be constantly tough and bold to survive. While men can joke around and still be taken seriously.
So ofc it’s a different world for men and women when it comes to being a chef.

Generally I love the icons series by tweak but this episode was weird. The host got unnecessarily aggressive and active and a bit uncomfortable in the first half. She should have asked more interesting, funny questions. However the guest tried to remain composed and maintained sanity.
