Being someone who's traveled a fair bit, this hysteria about vaccine passports is weird. They've existed for a really long time.
Right ! I’ve travelled to so many countries and those countries require visitors to have certain vaccines ..
it seems reasonable to me.
Yes, schools, universities, military, some types of businesses for certain jobs and international travel have required vaccine passports for a long time.
Canadians have vaccination records.. so our kids don't give each other rabies at school. It also makes us glow in the dark so the government can find us.
It seems like American Republicans don't travel much. You need vaccine proof for various countries, been that way for ages.
Last time I checked getting a vaccination was a choice while skin color was not.

I notice how she cut out the part where Tucker mentioned vaccination rates, which is the point of the analogy to Jim Crow laws. The new law would prevent the 72% of black New Yorkers who are unvaccinated from participating in normal life. Basically the majority of blacks are banned from being in public, apparently this lady is ok with that.

Holocaust survivor Vera Sharav compared the vaccine passports to the yellow Star of David. I don't think Joy Reid understands that reference.
Do have a link of her doing that as I don't believe that is true. She is a critic of big pharma and so she should be in the USA they get away with terrible things. All sort of human testing without permission.
However, there is a difference between private businesses not wanting unvaccinated people in their businesses and forcing people to wear a Star of David in order to identify them for extermination. I double she would compare these things, but prove me wrong.

For the last 50 years the "yellow card" was an internationally recognised method of recording vaccinations (Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Diptheria) to allow you to enter certain countries.

Apparently starvation has gone up 6 times as a result of lockdowns. In 2018: 9 million people died of starvation. Multiply that by 6 and you get 54 million dead in one year of lockdown. The exact wording I heard with the stats was a "six-fold increase in people suffering famine-like conditions". That could mean death is only a fraction of the "six-fold" conditions suffered, so maybe my calculations aren't fair. I mean: if I'm right, then it would roughly be 54 million cases of starvation VS 5 million dead from Coronavirus. That's 54 million divided 5 million giving a difference of 11 times. And yes, both those counts are worldwide.
Sure: cases and deaths are not comparable numbers, but I would need to know as much as Alex Jones if I wanted to be more accurate. And before you ask: the number he gives probably also accounts for lockdown-related suicides, among other things.
I guess I'll lastly show the definitions I'm using. Lockdown is when people are ordered to stay at home, or when they're denied services based on their vaccination status. It's also when businesses like restaurants are closed for not following orders.
Most people agree that things like food safety should be enforced to a certain extent, but that kind of agreement hasn't happened for Coronavirus restrictions. Covid restrictions were NOT voted on; they’re not laws. Would voting have slowed the reaction? Is there still time to reverse our reaction?
Obviously they do understand what Jim Crow is all about! They think it's ok for them to inflict it on others but not on them!

Even outside race relations, the Republicans were the leftist party in the 1900's (decade, not century). Teddy Roosevelt is known as a Trustbuster (Trust = monopoly), food and drug safety. My children could not attend public school until they had their "mandatory " vaccinations.

We should never base your political identity let’s call it on the name of your party at the time you made your political suggestions your affiliation your association should always be based upon the policies you promoted. In fact when I go involved I don’t care whether you’re a Democrat or Republican or an alien with green skin I only care about the policy you are promoting. I’ll gladly vote for a Republican if they promote a policy I can agree with. In fact there I said if Republicans went back and truly practice their conservative principles lets government less taxes truly fixing things on a budget there are times in history where they could’ve swept the board. Of course the problem is every time they have the opportunity to sweep the board they got a little trigger-happy and spent some money gave out tax breaks you know screwed up the budget. We often don’t see conservatives adhere to their supposed principles when they are in office.
