That pedal turning requirementis nasty when you don't want to hit pedals on an obstacle. I reckon back wheel motors are underrated and way better deal than Mid. Also one can change the motor as you want
The mid motor bikes I have tried have actually been way more controllable and powerful than the rears for me, but they were also much more expensive bikes so it’s not a fair comparison. I haven’t tried any budget mid motor bikes so you could be right.
@@PatSmage it seems a lot more development has gone into mid motors. To me if a bafang rear motor can be fitted to a decent mtb with proper disc brakes...also the battery store still an issue..a test on the trails and obstacles could be useful
Hopefully! Everything seems to be going up so I doubt a drop will happen anytime soon but it sure would be nice. Demand will have to slow down eventually.
Hey Pat Smage and Hannah Smage! Nice review of a very heavy low end fat tire ebike! I wonder is the 20 extra pounds you get when you save 2 grand worth it? My bulls monster e fs weighs way less but has front and rear suspension and is properly designed and equipped for serious off road use! I would also be concerned that people would mock me as I ride it just because of the name! Good review vid I hope you and Hannah are having fun! Ride ride ride!
Thanks! I think it really depends on how you ride and what you expect out of a bike. If you are trying to ride more off-road rough trails than on road, then the saving some weight and getting some better components would be worth spending extra money. Thanks!
Great review! Do you think this can handle some mountain bike trails?
Maybe you should reach out to Norco and see if they can send you a Bigfoot VLT 1. Would love to see some Efat trials on one of those
That does look like a fun bike! A higher end ebike would suit my style a lot better and make more lines possible.
I have a bike that the motor shuts off when you back peddle. It makes it really hard to do trials on
Like a coaster brake!

Motor in the back wheel is a lot of unsprung weight in a bad place. Risk of puncture will be much higher. But it's a cheep way to build :)
The prices on electric bikes are insane. Hopefully the prices will come down as time goes on and the demand slows down.

How you get nice like that on the bike though. Bro look legit
