I ran a 12.6 in a 6 speed manual 2016 Camaro SS bone stock. It was with the crappy run flats in the rear as well. The last time I was at the strip, guys were running low 12s in scattys all night.

Stock for stock a ten speed 5.0 is a pain to race from a roll. From a dig I'll take a 5.0 quarter mile at a time but a 60-130 isn't happening. You need at least a tune and Hellcat injectors to troll ten speed 5.0 mustang's from a roll.

@@theradchase3094 The hemi is a damn pushrod engine in a 4000lb brick shaped car it has no top end all it has is low end torque which dosen't help vs A lighter teardrop shaped mustang with a DOHC motor and a 10 speed. In a DOHC engine, the flow efficiency is higher than a pushrod due to more airpaths (more valves than a pushrod) means less air to drag in and out of a combustion chamber creating less stress on the motor. The 5.0 is faster and has stronger internals which is why you see them being modded snd not scats. The charger has no chance stop it.

I doubt anyone has seen a 1320 scat race a 5.0. Gapped the thing. Scats are fast but the suspension on the 392 (standard scat) sucks, can't put power down. The 1320 pack (softer suspension) makes the difference, same exact thing just different mode names and WAYY better suspension. 1320 will do 0 to 60 in 3.8 and a 5.0 in 4.2.
5.0s are sick. I’m more a die hard Nissan fanboy but ford/Shelby the only muscle I can respect.. aside from a corvette of course. Thinking about getting a 10speed over a Q50. We will see 😂
