Looks great. Thorough review of the town. I see that there are alot of new construction builds in comparison tp other towns in Bergen. What do you think about getting into a new build with a builder?
Appreciate your comment. There is a nice amount of new construction in Glen Rock. Builders knock down the older homes if they can get them for a low price and build new ones. It's a booming industry. New builds are great for folks looking to settle in. The main allure of a new build is not only is it nice, new, shiny, and clean but it's also all yours. You can customize if you buy pre-construction which is a nice perk as well. Downsides of a new build is that there may be signs of settling (nail pops, moulding cracks, wall cracks) for up to 10 years after construction is complete. Also you never know if a house will get water in the basement until you get a big storm. New builds do appreciate nicely over time, for example I'm selling a home in Fort Lee that was built in 2018 and the owners are making 25%+ on their investment. Hope that helps.
