WOW! Finds a watch destroyed in a fire, but no plastic parts are melted! Then he fixes it up by just happening to have the correct battery, crystal, pin set, gasket seal, and hand set at home already! He also just happens to have a brand new amateur watch repair kit on hand as well! IT'S MAGIC!
I think he kind of destroys these things to the point where he can fix them again. You can make things look old and Rusty very fast with a little bit of vinegar and water and I think that's what he does a lot of the time.
@@reserved50 Yes I cant support that , nothing wrong with trying to make a living from RUclips.. We are already tricked into seeing advertising anyway could at least put out honest content to make it worth it lol
I must admit to being surprised that such a watch would let water inside the casing in the first place, that nothing seems to have been eaten away by rust and as you say, none of the screws snapped.
To be able to take the watch apart and bring them back together is already a skill! This is becoming rare and rare these days. This is what we call ‘Mastery!’ Well done!
I’m 55 years old and never found one single watch, this guy finds all kinds….Hummmm?!? Funny that none of the parts are pitted and eaten the way they would be if real rust would have settled on them for a long time… especially, especially the metal movement parts and the coil which is super delicate, including the main circuit board, these movements parts are so delicate that they should be unusable. So Sorry to say but it was fake. I would not be surprised if he dismantles a brand new watch, then reassembles it, and then trashes it, he then edits the video to make it look as if he really restored it, its all done through video editing. But hey if you can make money doing this, more power to you…
That depends on how old that watch is. I used to work for Citizen watch back in 1970's. My kids got eco-drive watches in the 1990's as gifts. The original ones had a battery back up. They 'wound' by wearing and had a battery to keep the time when they weren't in motion.

Amazing how you got away with no corrotion in the movement , braclet, dial, case looks like professional restorations. Very, very amazing. Especial with a cheap ebay kit of tools..
Как же я восхищаюсь этим парнем, который ставит стрелки на минутные и часовые трибы и у него всегда часы показывают идеально время🤤Я просто хочу от него детей. Они будут такие же четкие как и эти часики
Really impressive to see the watch working after all the work, well done! Even if the finding was a creation from the director, it was well integrated to the video context. This is not a documentary about how to find old watches by the way.
He must live in a very rich country, if he findsso many good things that people have thrown away even though they just need to be cleaned to work fine again.

So couple things, 1: this isn't an automatic watch. 2: We are supposed to believe the crystal was destroyed in a more extreme way than I have ever seen a crystal destroyed but the dial just has dirt on it and no damage? 3: The case back has come off and was found feet away from the watch.... but there is no damage to the quartz movement and just some very thin dirt and dust on it? Right.........

Amazing video. Your patience and knowledge of how to restore that watch is really amazing. I would wear that watch with pride and tell the story of how you restored it to almost new condition.
