Fiziev does really well against people who are as game as he is. Moicano, Green, Riddell, dos Anjos - he's been so clinical and brutal in his last 5 fights. Gaethje is coming off a pretty rough loss in his last fight and is 1-2 in his last three. By no means is it going to be an easy fight for Fiziev but I think he wants it more. Gaethje has nothing to gain in this fight, Fiziev potentially gets a title shot.

Tony stood in front of Gaejthe for 18+ minutes and he took a beating no human should be able to take. Chandler weathered the storm, but it was 3 rounds. We don't know about Fiziev, but he looks pretty durable. Gaejthe has only lost by sub in his last few fights. I don't think Fiziev is gonna steamroll him.

Gaethje is 6-4 in the UFC. Yea he’s lost to only the best, but his fighting style doesn’t pair too well against a guy as technical and accurate as Fiziev’s. Just look at what happened when he fought Oliveira who has good Muay Thai striking.
Gaethje is a good matchups for fighting wrestlers such as Chandler due to his good takedown defense. Not a good match up vs. skilled strikers such as Poirier or Fiziev.
