Love these videos mang. Im feeling pretty good about my 1985 chevy crew cab 4x4 dually camper special barn find. The story in its self would blow any square body junkies mind. Long story short and being a service plumber i merly asked the home owner if he had any old chevy small blocks laying around for i was wanting to build a motor with my teenage son. And he replied “yeah i have a 454”, and i then replied do you have a tractor or anything to load it into the back of my truck. He then replied “ no you have to take the whole thing”. Being confused i then said whole thing? He then pointed out to the back 40. There she was. Complete running with 93k and 20 k on a rebuild. new trailer breaks and running. Just gave it to me! Very straight with cherried interior. Came back a day later and drove it up onto the flat bed with clean title in hand and the rest is history. This was two years ago. I have since given her a 6”lift with 37” tires and black wheels. Its currently getting a 3/4 restoration to show quality. Stock blue paint with a bit more flak to give it some style. Its blacked out. Super dream find of a lifetime. She will come in at a very nice market price for these are super rare and hardly any for-sale. Only sell though if the price is right, but my son says “ no sale dad”. I said, ok buddy just for now.
The only square body models I still see on the roads today are the regular cab pickups. Those square body crew cabs are very rare nowadays.

Way old but still gonna comment. It would have been really cool if you put the headliner panel and stuff back in. But instead of the old lights it would look really cool with the starlight in it.
Yeah, I wanted to put the old deal back in there. We haven’t done anything to the headliner yet but I want to do something!

😮love your square body quad cab dually looks bad ass more so than any of those new plastic computer ised garb. BTW I have an 88 2wd quad cab dually that I'm trying to restore. The only thing that I don't like on my 88 1ton 454 is the TBI and its a pain in ass. I'd rather have a carburetor like I had in my 85 chev. Quad cab dually 454. I wish that I didn't let it go.

That part on fire wall is fuseable linked if burnt replace it with a fuseable link the size of wire is on the fuseable link factory I just replaced mine had the same thing happen and it fried the starter wires were those are fuseable linked as well .was putting on a new brake booster when it happened
