Saving $10,000 in one year is a huge goal! I can't control how much of my crafty stuff people buy. But what I am doing using the $27.40/day as a guideline to help me determine how much stuff to create each day. For example: selling 2 of my chunky crochet hats will profit me about $30 after I account for materials, so making 2 hats in one day would satisfy my goal of $27.40/day.

That’s not bad shape that is great! Whatever you can save is fantastic. Different incomes can save different amounts. I’ve created savings challenges for people to save $30,000 in one year but could I do that? Nope! I tried for more than $10k last year and failed. But I’m proud to be able to save $10k!

Is BMO a safe savings account website?
Never heard of it!
I assume you are Canadian as BMO is a Canadian bank. I recommend talking with financial advisors at each bank you are interested in to get a better fit for your savings goals and what works best for you during your timeline in life.
I opened an account with BMO couple of months ago but just for a checking account opened bonus, I think is safe bad don’t think they are a HYSA ,if you are in the USA discovery or Weallfront are good options , even Apple is giving like 4,25 % right now
