Times like this were exactly why I started working with my advisor, She’s the one who helped me realize that these kinds of shifts like DeepSeek and other game-changing technologies require a strategic approach. You don’t want to just react, you want to have a plan in place. My portf0lio has doubled since early last year. My market analyst and I are working towards a seven-figure goal, though it might take until Q2 2025.
The advisor I’m currently working with is Annette Christine Conte I came across her in a Bloomberg interview for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
I just love all your lessons. Sometimes I think that can't possibly happen but then it does. I am 80 years of age but I learn something new each time I listen to you. Thank you.
That's always the plan but like the gambling addiction, these people putting money into these stock market with these get rich quick schemes call investments.
Open ai was privatised as soon as some useful tech was created. The guys that helped create it ,the potential small startup innovators were screwed once again.
Indeed, and it would be even more epically ironic, if one lonely master student, that attended a public university, with the 1st two words in the title of his 1997 thesis as "Reinforcement Learning", bridged the tiny gap on the "shoulders of giants" (Klopf, Barto, Sutton, et.al.) is now roaming the planet homeless, though probably carrying a paper back book, to satisfy his perpetual learning addiction problem.
it also creates less educated people and as a consequence less innovation. What is the difference between extreme capitalism where a handful of billionaires own and run the whole infrastructure and ultimately the economy of a country where there is only the illusion of competition and a purely communist state owned country.
The USA reminds me of the scene in the movie Titanic where the band plays on as the ship is flooding, and the rich people are locking the doors on the poor people in steerage as they pile into the lifeboats.
@@rebeccacrossley8733 Another harsh reality - the poor in a capitalistic society are heavily influenced into believing that if only they will work harder, they will also get to be as wealthy as those in the rich class and don't have to mix around in steerage. Poor fools they are too as it is only a dream fed to them in order to get them to work harder for the rich. Here is another irony - the Capitalist west (ie the US) complains that China has "overproductivity" in EVs. solar panels, etc and is thus, "stealing" the jobs from the West. YET, we keep hearing in our Western economies that our workers are not being productive enough. One would think that since capitalism loves overproduction. they should be congratulating the Chinese for being overproductive and finding out how they did it. However, they condemn the Chinese instead for achieving what they themselves want their own workers to achieve.
Oh, absolutely. January 29, 2025, will probably be remembered as the day America realized it was behind. China just built a powerful AI model with a fraction of the resources that U.S. companies are burning through.
wild to think about. While U.S. tech giants keep raising billions, DeepSeek is proving that efficiency beats excess. It’s a perfect example of why billionaire greed is holding America back.
Right? The Chinese didn’t just build better AI-they exposed how wasteful and slow U.S. companies have become. They’re capturing the world without firing a single shot.
And you know what? This is bigger than just tech. It’s a financial lesson too. If you’re still trusting the old systems-whether it’s tech giants or traditional investments-you might be in for a rude awakening.
We've sen this movie before. I remember in the late 1960s, the hysterical laughter the notion that cheap tiny Japanese cars could ever, ever pose a threat to Detroit. How are the mighty fallen! As they always do, regularly as the sun sets.

Thanks for this series, I'm enjoying listening. I'm an executive coach in the semiconductor industry and this is my understanding. The disruptive innovation is that the DeepSeek AI model is able to function using lower quality chips which are less expensive. Almost all of the world's chips are made in Taiwan and South Korea by two companies - TSMC and Samsung. The equipment to build tiny chips is extremely expensive and complex. NVIDIA is a chip designer not a chip manufacturer. It was designing chips for the gaming industry and happened to be well positioned to start designing chips for AI use. The false assumption was that AI required these fancier more expensive chips which only NVIDIA could design. DeepSeek has proven that it wasn't necessary to invest in the fancy chips because they only had access to the simpler older chips since the US did not give China access to high end chips.
Excuse my ignorance but since Taiwan is Chinese territory and they produce the chips and actually use China's resources for their chips why can't China get these more advanced chips. I realize the US has placed sanctions on chips and semiconductors to China but not understanding why China can be denied chips from their own territory

A slight correction. It's not about the chips. It's about the AI models they produced. Deepseek still used US Nvidia chips (although a dumbed-down version due to US export control) to train its models. However, they figured out some really smart ways to greatly improve their models' training and reasoning efficiency, greatly reducing costs. And they also open sourced their code so that everyone can use and modify it, and learn from it. This basically destroyed American tech oligarchs' AI monoply. Therefore you see these American tech giants doubting this model's true cost and making groundless accusations of Deepseek stealing training data. It's just pathetic.
deepseek used some nvidia chips but they mostly used homegrown huawei chips which are, according to the deepseek team, 3% slower but 70% cheaper to train. they used hardware optimizations specific to the huawei chips.

I feel this. I’m also thinking I need to get an investment advisor to avoid rookie mistakes, Okay if I ask you for a recommendation?
The advisor I’m currently working with is Annette Christine Conte I came across her in a Bloomberg interview for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.

Rich people not spending or being taxed causes a reduction of money supply in working class ecosphere. This causes poverty and recessions.
In a feudal society.

Watch videos by Yaxnis Varoxufakis. We are in TechxnoFeudxalism.
W's father called it "Voodoo Economics".
it also creates less educated people and as a consequence less innovation.
Omg that is exactly the truth
@@rebeccacrossley8733absolutely
That's harsh! (But true?)
@jimmyjambon- Are you American😄😄?
Thank you prof for your wonderful in put.
Have you been following the DeepSeek story? Their AI breakthrough is sending shockwaves through the tech world.
That’s exactly why people need to start thinking differently about their money. Have you heard of Thomas F. Chrysler?
Thank You Prof. Wolff!☮️

I’m so happy I found you…Good solid information need to know 😮
Thanks for this series, I'm enjoying listening.
Very interesting background. Thanks for sharing.

At first they use dumb down Nvidia
But latest news say they moved on to Huawei
deepseek used some nvidia chips but they mostly used homegrown huawei chips which are, according to the deepseek team, 3% slower but 70% cheaper to train. they used hardware optimizations specific to the huawei chips.
Who cares? Knowledge, innovations were always free until the greedy westerners started "patterning" everything (that they stole from other civilizations to start with). the base of any kind of computer is algorithm and do you think Persians should now claim it because it was alkhwarizmi (hence the word Algorithm) who was the father of algorithm that came up and produces this part of math/science? greed of western people will be their demise ....
If true this is big, nvidia needs to go to 5 dollars a share then
