Of course, your videos are very enjoyable. It is you. You have a beautiful soul and it reflects into your plants. I love your energy and your gentle spirit. It looks like you have created sacred space. An indoor garden sanctuary.
@@mypetitegarden i took a screen shot, of the green fern like looking plant, can't recall the name, bc this was my first time seeing it. Went to Esty entered the name and nearly fell out when I saw the price...😒😂😂😂😂. But very beautiful plant, none the less.
@@myshanamakisi6063 You must be talking about the Huperzia, plant prices have gone up like crazy. I almost fell off my chair as well when I checked just now. I got mine for a fraction of the price pre-covid.
@@mypetitegarden Yes, that's the one. I literally left your video, typed the name in Esty, and was like..."ok, nevermind. Guess, I'll admire from afar"....😒😂 🤷🏾♀️. Unfortunately, these prices are taking the fun out of plant collecting. But it's gorgeous. I actually purchased a Rosita, bc I saw it in one of your videos. It wasn't cheap, but it wasn't $200 plus either. 👍🏾
Maybe the string of pearls has a fear of heights!!! I looked at the view out its window and it made my giddy lol : D Juat a thought, but could be just its acrophobic.....like me. Another beautiful video, and def enjoy the before and afters, very nice. Thanks : )
I know I'm late to the party but I absolutely love your collection and the beautiful space you've created with them. I feel soooo bad for my plants ;-; my apartment gets shitty light and I know they're struggling but I don't know what to do beyond grow lights. I love them so much ;-;
I love this video in how you showed us how some of your plants are doing, the good and the sad. I love how much your Hoyas grew mainly Hoya Chinghungensis, wow!
Very nice update video. I really enjoyed seeing before and after footage. You have like the best natural and artifical lighting in your home. Your camera work is awesome. ❤
Love this! Thanks for featuring the Phyllanthus Mirabilis too as it answered my questions in the other videos. :) Would be nice to see a video on how you rehab struggling plants! 🙌 Thanks again.
I miss clear skies, my outside sky is fully hazy lately since the OR/CA fires are pretty bad. So the grow lights are making the inside of my apt pinky glowy, hope my neighbors don't think I'm growing a certain kind of plants. I'm surprised by how much warmth comes off of those lights.
Love hoyas but apparently they don’t love me. Mixed results. What is your airy aroid/Hoya mix exactly? Haven’t seen shoots on my 2 variegated hoyas since I received them and it’s been months! I replanted one into a more draining soil. Help? First time watched. Just subscribed. Thanks
I have killed every string of pearls I have tried to grow. I don't think I will get another one, they never last for me. I Recently had a variegated Kentiana die after it had been doing great for 2 years. I am currently investing in more grow lights, I believe it will make my plants happier. I love these types of videos, it shows realistically we have some flourish and some that wither. Thank you for sharing, I will say it again...I really enjoy your videos. Very calming
Thank you again for another great video. Love all your plants, so healthy. What do you fertilize them with? You don't only have a green thumb but a dark green thumb.😊
I kept saying, "I'm happy with that one too!" every time you would show one. Yes, I'm happy to see all the growth of your plants. When you did the kimnachii unboxing I immediately had to have one and I have no regrets. It's really pretty and affordable. I love all the hoyas but sometimes the cost of those prevents me from having them.
Also thank you for including a few non-successful ones. It really helps me not feel so awful about my less-than-successful ones. Kentiana Variegata. I got it and it dropped like 30 leaves in about 2 days. All that is left now is one little variegated portion and some of the non-variegated parts. No idea what went wrong with that!
Hi there! I’m a new plant mom, I’d just like to understand your reasoning for your choice of topdressing. Thinking of gettin some for my plants! Thank uuu
I really appreciate all your videos ♥️ Especially it’s nice to see the variety of plants and how they grow !! 🌱✨ I’m 1year old plant mom and enjoy watching my plants everyday. Hopefully I can grow more babies 👶🏻!!
I ask because I have been planting in terra cotta and I notice all the chemicals that leech out of the plant. They say terra cotta is porous and has the ability to remove toxins from the water. I live in New York. There is some sign, from the look of the pot, that something is detoxing out of the plant. I have read that New York water is high in chlorine and fluoride. The terra cotta has a build up of a white chalky substance on its exterior. Wherever I google, it says, that it is the water. I’ve tried letting water stand, in a bucket, for 24 hours, because I read that the chemicals will evaporate. I am experimenting with this. I cannot afford to buy loads of distilled water. The other after affect is brown tips. I’m not sure if it is because of the water. I don’t over water. In fact, I take my time, letting my plants wait for me. I only asked because your plants look so beautiful. You keep them in impeccable condition. I wondered if it was your watering practices. I can see that you have a way with plants. They respond to you with beautiful growth. I really enjoy watching your videos. You have a gentle voice and a delicate manner. It is refreshing to watch and listen to you. I’m a quiet person. I love the tranquility I feel when I watch your videos. Thank you for your response.
What is the secret ingredient for successful Hoya? Mine are super SLOW growers. Is it a light issue? I'm lucky enough to be blessed with 2 large floor to ceiling south facing windows in my condo, which is where I keep my hoya but they do not receive any direct light, due to the balcony above one of them and large Maple tree outside the other. :-/
Sounds like you have ample light in your space - some Hoyas do grow faster while others grow slower. It can be various factors honestly. I would say to just test out changing one factor at a time and see if it aides in the growth. You can definitely test out having them grow under grow lights or amping up the humidity (like putting them in a cloche or terrarium) but there is no secret ingredient 😆.
I have watched a couple of plant channels in youtube and stumbled upon one of your videos and honestly I thought you are big plantuber because the level of profesionalism and the quality of your videos are really on the top. You deserve more subs 😇😇

mypetitegarden looking forward to your next video! So therapeutic ❤️❤️❤️
Love this! Care tips for the chinghungensis please!
super super easy going one for me - I keep it in airy aroid/hoya mix and water when dry & give it medium/bright indirect light.
mypetitegarden thank you so much!😍

I actually have a video on the potting mix I use so feel free to check that out if you are curious. 😄
Your videos are always so aesthetic and beautiful!! Curious to see if you would do a video on plant fails? And where you like to buy your hoyas from?

Do you use tap water to water your plants?
Yes I do
