People started to wear clothing as a "Decoration to attract the opposite sex".

This is great and so well researched.
Thanks for this great overview about the origins of clothing :)
Thank you very much!

Fantastic overview. All the other videos I found on the topic either weren't academic, weren't detailed enough, or were far too lengthy, so this one is perfect for what I was looking for.
Thank you very much!
Hey your video is amazing, I love everything, from how you dress to the pictures you chose
Thank you very much!
I love the sense of humour that shines through

This is a wonderful video for your class. Well done!
Thank you!
So fascinating!
Thanks!
Are you going to continue this line about the history of clothing?
Yes we hope to! Nola uses these as part of her class curriculum so we will be getting more out in the future.
@@CostumeTrek Thank you I found it very informative

very informative
Thank you!
did you find anything about fashion in Oceania or the Americas for this time?
There is information out there, but we didn't have time to incorporate it into this video.
This is amazing! Would you be able to give a short presentation to the students in my class?
Where are you located? We could potentially do a Zoom meeting.
My only quibble is "to attract the opposite sex" it makes an assumption that isn't justified. I do agree fashion most likely began as a means of attraction. From everything we can tell bisexuality was the ancient default.
Absolutely fair
Yep, thats a lot of links and its plwasing to see . . . . .
Thanks!
I clicked on this link because I wanted to know about the history of clothing, not about tattoos.
