It doesn’t have it? I get that there’s a new professor, but come on, have Oak make a cameo at the end or something. It’s not like they couldn’t get Stan Hart: he’s one of the few voice actors who came back to the anime after the big purge of 2006. Carter Cathcart (original Gary, current Oak) came back too.
Such a beautiful game...I loved all the little puzzly type things you had to figure out! Like hitting the squirtle with the pokefruit to find the oak cabbin, getting the generator running for the pokemon sign etcetera. Great game. It still beats the new one for pokeflute tunes. At least it gave you three. New one only has one and it's both lame and repetitively irritating!
Summoning all the charmanders at once is seriously the most cutest thing you can do, but now I have learned how creepy it can be. Thank you papa wittz.
I always loved "Mankey in the Sky" the pose you get for chucking a Pester Ball at Mankey to open up the secret path in the valley, but snapping a photo before it lands on the button. It's insane that they gave a special pose for that, and even though it's a weird looking photo it usually scores pretty high.
I can't believe I never tried that. Well, I guess I can. That's such a weird photo to try and take. I did have a lot of fun bouncing Pokémon around whenever I could!
I will never forget the moment when my sibling saved Pikachu as they hatched Articuno and we started freaking out when Pikachu started flying on the back of the Articuno. We were never able to replicate it but it was the coolest moment and why I loved that game.
Apparently, the Mewtwo sign is a bunch of crystals that when the light of the camera bounces through them, makes a picture of Mewtwo. Which is why you can only see it when the picture is developed
@@internetguy7319 you can like swsh, I liked swsh. But did I love it? No. Its not as polished as it could be, it's too linear (even sumo had more explorability), and it has no replay value (because the game is so linear, it leaves nothing up to individual player discovery or story variability). It's nothing compared to the titles before it, and frankly I believe the game would have done BETTER if they released it as the last pokemon 3ds title. Then no one would complain about graphics, we'd have the GTS system IN the game itself, the linearity wouldn't matter because everyone knew the 3ds isn't super powerful, and the dex cut could even be covered by that same fact. There's nothing wrong with criticizing a franchise you love, I grew up on pokemon - it's my bread and butter. So I want to see pokemon do well and succeed. YOUR criticism can be from a place of love, it's not always a negative thing that the internet/twitter makes it out to be, lol.
I knew about Pikachuno when I was really young! Before I had any concept of how difficult it was to pull off, and I'm genuinely surprised at how many people did not know about it.
I remember Articuno/Pikachu being hard to pull off, but I did do it. The hardest part had to be getting the shot to register as Pikachu instead of Articuno.
One of my favorite memories of Snap is renting it for my birthday and beating the whole game in one day. Eventually we bought the game and even my mom played it. I'm looking forward to playing the new one with her, too!
I only knew the true flying Pikachu even existed because of the official strategy guide for Pokémon Snap, and even then, I could never pull it off! Bravo, Jwittz!
Loved the video jwittz! can't wait to see the next video! Also I heard on twitter about the baby coming early so good luck and hope they arrive happy and healthy!
I've played through this game so many times since I was kid and I had no idea about the Articuno one or the multiple puffs. Never seen pics, never heard rumors, nothing. Great video as always, JWittz!
I remember I used to play with those Charmander as much as I can - get them angry from the pester ball, fed them apples, and watched them dance with the flute... This was beautiful! 💙
I got so good at Pokemon Snap that I could complete the game, with all 64 pokemon, from start to finish in less than half an hour. To get the best chance of Pikacuno, you have to face backwards, and then rapidly left-back-right-back-left-back, which slows the Zero-One down more, at the end of the stage, provided you have freed Pikachu from that Zubat. Click and DON'T STOP. A lot of those will be Articuno shots. It is hard to get Pikachu in any solid way not blocked by Articuno's crest. I still have my N64, btw.
PS, there was no shot I never uncovered, Pikachu version or otherwise, back then. Pikachu on a ball, Surfing Pikachu, Pikachu on a Stump, the Electrifying Pikachu (where there are two of them zapping to your pokeflute), Dashing Pikachu, Flying Pikachu, PIkachu on Articuno, and well you get the picture.
This is my first time learning about Pikachu riding an Articuno. Pokémon Snap was my very first N64 game and one of my first video games ever, but I never knew this existed. Really cool!!
Snap, like every game I played back in the day, really forced you to explore. I replayed stages to try out everything I unlock and that's how I came across the Pikacuno. Hitting the dang zubat was probably the most difficult thing to do.
Oh wow. I've beaten the game as a kid and again a couple of years ago, but had no idea about the Jigglypuff trio and the Articuno + Pika combo. Cool to see there are still things I didn't know about that game.
I'm glad you included the signs on this list. They were one of my favorite things about Pokemon Snap, adding an aura of mystery to an otherwise straightforward photography game. My copy of New Snap is on the way, but from what I've seen so far, there doesn't seem to be a mention of the signs returning. Oh well. It'll still be fun regardless.
I remember spinning around in a circle constantly to slow my ride down enough to get Pikachu on Articuno close enough for that perfect shot, and it was so worth it!
Wow, you can do these kind of stuff in the old game? Now I gotta try something similar in the new game for potential secrets. Thanks Professor Mirr-, uh I mean Jwittz
One of my favorite shots is making the two Magmar fights. As for the Articuno and Pikachu scene I had the strategy guide so I was able to get that shot
I didn't know about the Articuno thing as a kid, but I loaded up and streamed my original copy as a full playthrough (after looking through my saved pics lol) and happened upon this by accident. I cannot describe stumbling on something like that after such a fantastic nostalgia trip prior.
Man, this game seriously takes me back....surfing pikachu, jamming jigglypuff, charmeleon and magmar going at it, zapdos charging up the machine, charmeleon evoles into charzaird and more. It's too much good memories to count. I'm still looking forward to what they will do in NEW Pokemon Snap!!
I had the magazine as a kid that gave me a guide on all the Pokémon in Pokémon Snap- and I knew about the Articuno-Pikachu thing from the beginning. I had no idea it wasn’t commonly known.
Even decades later I didn't know about the Pikacuno oh man
They really hid that one in there! ⚡️❄️
Dude same, I'm shook lol
Holy crap, im shocked. I could swear that articuno-pikachu wasnt even featured in the official strategy guide...
Makes me wonder if there's even more secrets no one's found
@@adriansobin6168 It was featured in the strategy guide, that's how I found out
I’m loving New Pokémon Snap but it’s lacking creepy Professor Oak yelling “YOU WERE CLOSE”
THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING XDDD
Don't let this distract you from the fact that I get bullied because my classmates think my videos are the worst. Please don't agree, dear li

Snap really is a gem of a game. Such a simple concept, but so so endearing
And of course, "yOu WeRe ClOsE"
Yeah, I remember just going to the Mew level to stare at the stars and Pokemon Signs.
Such a beautiful game...I loved all the little puzzly type things you had to figure out! Like hitting the squirtle with the pokefruit to find the oak cabbin, getting the generator running for the pokemon sign etcetera.

"Pikachu riding an Articuno if you just look a little bit more to the right."
YOU WHAT?!?!?!?!?
Yeah, its the biggest troll in gaming ever. And its awesome. Thats exactly what more games need to do.
Hey I heard there’s a secret qr code if you do this scanning it will rickroll you
I thought the same thing.
Summoning all the charmanders at once is seriously the most cutest thing you can do, but now I have learned how creepy it can be. Thank you papa wittz.
why are you everywhere
It looks like there gathering to do some ritual on the Montreal egg
I vote that the group of Vulpixes dancing is cuter
Not to mention how pissy they get when you dont give them apples.
over 20 years... and I NEVER knew about the pikachu on articuno

I am! Hope u are too! I’ve made a few memes and have gotten great shots haha. Beat the main game Sunday and I’ll hop back into it soon!
I just started playing New Snap today and already I'm in love with this game!

I can’t believe Pikachu was right behind us this whole time
I KNEW I WASNT GOING CRAZY! I remember Articuno and Pikachu at the end of the caves and I'm shocked so many people missed it.
Apparently, the Mewtwo sign is a bunch of crystals that when the light of the camera bounces through them, makes a picture of Mewtwo. Which is why you can only see it when the picture is developed
Huh. I never knew about the Charmander thing. I always just instantly tossed the Moltres egg into the lava.
You learn something new every day...
Lol, I was worried the vehicle was going to break the egg, it always sounded so violent.
“They put my boy in a win zip!” YOOOOOOO that’s hilarious! LOLOLOL
Maybe the real Top 10 New Pokemon Snap Photo Moments were the friends we made along the way

Because *Bandai Namco* made "New Pokemon Snap", not that TRASH company known as "Game Freak".
I'm a 35 year old guy fan of pkmn since 97 and you just blew my mind with #1

I knew about Pikachuno when I was really young! Before I had any concept of how difficult it was to pull off, and I'm genuinely surprised at how many people did not know about it.
I absolutely loved the animation of the charmanders when you gave them food and then they begged for more. It was so freaking CUTE.
It’s official, pikachu is a team mystic supporter.

Part 2 when?

Same. I still play it every few years. Only got Balloon Pikachu once I think, forgot about it lol.
Yo JWittz, there is an official product that will let you print New Pokemon Snap photos just like back in the 90s!
Congratulations daddy Jwittz!
Oh man, this video managed to bring back one of the few happy memories I have of my childhood…
Idk if it is nostalgia but there really is something awesome about the old watercolor illustrations of the pokemon games.
