    Will this technique work with a canvas panel?

      I think it could! I’m not sure if you’d need the primer or not, but the watercolor grain would probably work on that surface!

    Which did you put on first, the primer or the watercolor ground, and how many coats of each did you put on?

      I first did a thin layer of primer (I used Golden Gac 100) and let it dry. After that, I did a layer of the transparent watercolor ground by Daniel Smith. Hope that helps!
