An example of participatory technology development
A video account of a process in which women farmers and small scale producers identified the need:
- to reduce the toil and long hours of work associated with the de-husking of millets
- for appropriate milling technology to de-husk and process millet grains fo the market to meet a major need of the consumers and generate better income for marginalized dryland cereal cultivators
University trained engineers and non-literate farmers co-designed and tested new millet processing machines for village level use and repair.
Congratulations... Great work upon this Earth.
Revolution started by the original owner of India- Bharatvarsh 👍💪🙏

Great job!! we need more societies like you!really commendable
Background music is excellent
I have stated this and I will again. They should try grain which like millet grows well in poor soil with little water requirement. That is a crop from central America and Mexico. I have grown it and got more seeds then I could use. The leaves can also be used like spinach. The heads with the seed produce much more than pearl millet. It is called amaranth Please check it out online. Very large seed head can be milled into flour or even popped. The heads are gold or red color.
We dont need bullet trains and moon mission or hydrogen bombs, .. Make country rich by helping poor farmers... they give it back with a big bang .... Please politicians understand
