Absolutely love all the looks! I totally agree with your mom about deep pockets in coats. I find coats with shallow pockets so annoying. I want to be able to pop my phone and gloves in my pocket and not worry about them falling out. The styles you chose are actually basics in anyone's wardrobe. It's all about the styling.
