This one stumped me for a bit. But was actually very happy when I figured it out. Wasn’t sure how the word play indicator worked for these but now I get. I say keep them in.
I really do like the homophone ones so by no means lessen them, but I did struggle a bit with this one. English is not my first language so i kept trying to rephrase massages or rubbing, looking like a dumbass saying “mace-ages? Roobin? Mass-ajest? Ruping?” completely oblivious to the fact that kneading could be a synonym as well hahaha, still a pretty nice one!
I think the definition for this one was too easy, so I got it before I got the chance to look at the word play

Is there any way to do past days’ crosswords?
I got it without understanding it 😂 just tried a 5 letter synonym for requires
Tried "knead" first, then realised it was the other way round.
No way in fk could I have solved it this was a good one

The way I solved it was thinking that massages was an anagram indicator and the word "needs" is in "by the sound of it" minus one E lol
This one stumped me. I ended up playing this like a normal Wordle which feels like cheating somehow lol
I was hung up on massages being an anagram indicator.
Kind of just guessed this one without wordplay, as it seemed ONLY the front could be the definition
Where's the dog at? :(
I like em
I’m sorry to say this but I do enjoy a good homophone once in a while
me no like thanks
