@@Casper.CoasterCreator yeah it is probably the most realistic guess! i can also see the spike being smaller and maybe the launch starts backwards? idk i guess we’ll see on tuesday
I think you nailed it . @ 1:55 mark, I especially appreciate this concept showing the racing logo between the 2 platforms, that logo design supports this magnificent concept. It's so sensible but I know most enthusiasts would want more but let's focus on the positives 1.)This ride could have been simply torn down 2.)We get a guaranteed rollback 3.)We get 3 launches, not just 1 4.)I imagine this ride will have better capacity & less down time. Great job!!!!!
Exactly! I think that was their plan, all along. Only people that will be disappointed, are the coaster enthusiassts, who thought this ride would have airtime hills, extended top hat, 500+ft spiral back spike, etc.
Thanks man! I can be that the 1st launch will be a bit faster, but I dont think it will, because otherwise the 2nd swing would be really a launch but more a boost, what would lower the experience
This was actually probably one of the only concepts closest to getting it right (just the colors, speed, and transfer track were wrong) and the transfer track is a switch track
Yeah, the first switch footers were looking simulator to transfer table footers. Thatd why the concept has a different type of switch. I still think that this is my best TTD > TT2 concept so far
That would be funny, but I dont see that happen. Because the transfer track, the footers in shape the shape for a Spike (the tophat doenst has that shape of footers) and the brakes already connected to the original, 420ft tophat
It sometimes already launched to the top with 115mph, thats even on record...so if it was possible back in the days, it should also be no problem then with this lighter trains (the old trains were pretty heavy)
You mean that the original "was" better? Because in terms of the launch, I need to agree that the lsm launch will not match that experience. But on terms of forces and theming, It can be even beter than dragster has ever been
What do you think about the height of the spike and the LSM Launch system?
I wonder if it’s worth going for the height record if they’re willing to do 375ft, but i don’t like the idea of slowing down on the 3rd pass
It’ll probably be about 457
If the spike is 375ft, the 3th launch will be a boost, that would make the most sense for me
Why 457 tho? They dont even have the height permission for it

amazing man, can't wait to see the real one!
I think you got this right!
Thanks man! I cant wait as well and it would be even more epic if I have it right
I went to cedar point yesterday and they are building the new layout right now! I am so exited.
Wow!! I can imagine that everyone cant wait to see the result!

Yeah, that was pretty unreal from the start...but it would be epic if it was real
the official announcement from the park is Tuesday. i’m can not wait to hear. ready to go again hopefully
I know! I made a detailed prediction based on all the footers. I hope you will like it!
@@Casper.CoasterCreator will you make a recreation once they announce everything about it on the first?
I am not sure if I will. Depends on how the area will look like
If this is what we get I really hope they send us a little further up the top hat on the first launch. Otherwise it looks good!
Thanks man! I can be that the 1st launch will be a bit faster, but I dont think it will, because otherwise the 2nd swing would be really a launch but more a boost, what would lower the experience

man you got it pretty accurate
except when the LSM kinda tilts downards
Yeah, it is still a bit unreal, but I am happy with how close my prediction was!
It’s gonna be awesome
It will!! The waiting is almost over ;)
So exicted!
Nice to hear! Less than 1 day to go
Very accurate
Thanks man!
Looks good to me
Yeah, the ride will be a pretty nice ride!
Is it going to be taller than kingda ka 6th comment
No, it will not break the hight record. That will still be Kingda ka
K
Bro said the speed wrong the first launch is 75 mph then the second launch is 110 mph the the last launch is 120 mph
I know. This video was made before the announctment. It was my final prediction
You need 120 mph all day to clear the top hat.
Sorry, but you dont. Back in the days, dragster always launched between 112 and 115 mph
@@Casper.CoasterCreator I thought the original speed of the original ride was 120? ❤️
On paper, it was 120nph, but on track, it mostly launched between 112 and 115 mph
@@Casper.CoasterCreator never knew that
@@dannyboystartronicalpizzaw9692 than you have learned something in the weekend...but idk if you want to learn things in the weekend xd
I'm baffled why cedar point picked such a boring paint colors for it
It pretty smart, because they will install a light show for in the evening as well...and white reflects all the colors for the best result
Watch Cedar Point play with everyone thinking there will be a spike when they are truly added a second top hat at 666 feet. 😀😀
That would be funny, but I dont see that happen. Because the transfer track, the footers in shape the shape for a Spike (the tophat doenst has that shape of footers) and the brakes already connected to the original, 420ft tophat
Nice job!
Then they'd have to make it devil-themed
Thanks man!
Yeah, a 666ft tophat isnt realistic for the moment
115 mph will not make it over the tophat. 120 to 126 mph will clear it
It sometimes already launched to the top with 115mph, thats even on record...so if it was possible back in the days, it should also be no problem then with this lighter trains (the old trains were pretty heavy)
Nah, with a spike added I think it can easily make it over the top hat at 115MPH.
150mph is too fast for 420ft.
Its going 115mph, but i can see why you missed it. I need to work on my english speaking
@@Casper.CoasterCreator Gotcha. Sorry about that!
This is a downgrade. The original will be much better
You mean that the original "was" better? Because in terms of the launch, I need to agree that the lsm launch will not match that experience. But on terms of forces and theming, It can be even beter than dragster has ever been
Too slow.
Its the same speed as Dragster always had...so why to slow?
Thats fckng lame if they actually do all this amd call it records 😂 lets hope they're legit
To be honnest, because I dont see the spike being over 500ft, I think this are the only possible records
