I love this Victorian. The maximalist pack really goes well with older house styles like this one. Usually people make Victorian builds with tiny rooms, but you have plenty of space in each. I really like this house for the three roommates. You did such a great job mixing patterns and still making the rooms look cohesive and gorgeous.

OK I know this was 9 months ago but I love ur storyline so much and its giving me ideas so I'm gonna dump them here Maybe the Aunt and her partner were super into travel and constantly brought back souvenirs to furnish their home. When the partner went missing and she couldn't get answers maybe a dormant spirit in a crystal ball bought on their travels awoke and started to pity her. It kept trying to get her attention around the house by doing poltergeist things and eventually she caught on and performed a seance - maybe she thought it was her partners spirit trying to contact her :( - and released the spirit which anchored to her pet cat. Since then she's been honing her psychic powers with the help of her new cat familiar and other cats have kept appearing around her house - which she takes as a sign of protection so she shelters them. Also maybe Mark has always admired and related to his artsy, cultured aunt and maybe his own parents are quite emotionally repressed and put a lot of pressure on him to get a "real job" and "be normal." So he has a strained relationship w them and on top of that they keep talking shit about how its so sad that his aunt "lost it" after her partner "abandoned her" so he's like, SUPER defensive of her and wants to believe her even if he doesn't quite get it yet. I wanna add to Leslie too and say maybe because she's a geek bookworm she's like crazy into sci fi but never felt like she was creative enough to write a book or comic series like she secretly dreamed which is why she went along with studying programming. Because she's funny her friends are trying to convince her that she is creative and to follow her dreams but she's still in a state of uncertainty about the whole thing. Maybe the idea of a big conspiracy theory with ghosts and government cover ups just hugely excites her bc its so very sci fi but because of that she's bad at taking any of it seriously. Alice is the weirdest one bc she's kind of the protag but maybe like the other 2 she's stuck not knowing what she wants to do. She loves to paint and she loves music but she hasn't found her true calling yet. Maybe she tries a lot of things just trying to figure it out. Maybe one day she's trying out photography and while out searching for good secluded spots to take pics she stumbles across something strange and inexplicable. She takes some pictures and flees back home and shows them to the aunt and now they're both on the trail of the Strangerville mystery. ok that was it lmao phew. Love the build BTW you always blow me away
I love the storyline and how you represent each of the sims in the build! I would really enjoy seeing you build a Japandi style family home with modern architecture, light timber features, etc. Something minimal but warm and inviting at the same time. Maybe even with a central courtyard or skylights to let in natural light. I don't know but I think it would be the complete opposite of this style and interesting to see.

I think a pack we should get in the sims 4, is one that has a ton of build/buy items for mechanics, construction, and just more tools in general. I mean do we even have a tool box in the sims 4? And just imagine the garages we could build ✨
You should check out the debug menu!! There is a ton of different saws and hammers ect, normally when I build a garage I clutter with them and try my best to make it feel like a garage!
not sure if youve watched The Last of Us but bills house in the show also has a basement and then a secret second basement/bunker under it, so i loved seeing that in a build! the house in the show is an old american style home and its so gorgeous :") i would love to see some sort of run-down old american/southern gothic house, if you havent already built any!
while u were talking about the romantic side of the friendship and the aunt a little fun twist could be that the guy (i cant remember these sims names for the life of me) started fancying one of the girls but the aunt being psychic maybe sees him with the other girl and tries to push him with her but he keeps brushing his aunt off and finding her a little annoying because thats not the girl he started developing feelings for

i have an idea... you could make houses through the different eras like tudors, georgians etc. or you could do rich/poor styled houses for the eras for example: Rich georgian house & poor georgian house.
Love this build!! I just got Sims 4. What do you recommend as the minimum packs needed to accomplish something like this, even if not with all the details you include? Like, something reasonably Victorian looking? Honestly, I refused to buy the game after playing Sims 3 for years; had all the packs, and hundreds of mods. Initially, was annoyed that I had to start all over with Sims 4 - but then, I was just angry at the prices and smaller/divided up packs with Sims 4. It feels like extortion. Sims 3 supernatural has everything. Sims 4, you need 5 or 6 expensive packs to get the same value. And there is no Art Deco building pack at all for Sims 4, and that's my main building style. But I like this build enough to consider possibly starting to play Sims 4, because I do miss Sims ...

Focus on 'shadow work' and as you're raising your vibrations and becoming more spiritually attuned you'll start to see the world in a whole new light ❤ Just whatever you do regarding spiritual stuff do it safely! Do your research and contact the online community. We are all here at different stages of our journey helping each other out to spread the 'love and light'. The other side is not scary at all. You are powerful beings so embrace that.
