I favor four act structure, splitting the second into ‘two and three’, the fourth beginning at the third threshold, or what I call, “The Final Punctum”. Sure it may sound pretentious, but I don’t mind; I have spent years designing a universal writing system to embody the beats of the tale for myself save whoever finds it useful once I publish it.
I think the schematization, as a whole. I've been studying film noir for 4 years now, and I see that the "elasticity" of the genre includes so many variants that it's easy to get lost in the minutiae. It's always good to go back to looking at the whole, in general lines, and remembering the marks and peculiarities of the narrative development that characterize all these stories (or, the best of them). Thank you for that! Coming to this channel is always a pleasure, and a learning experience 🙂
Really great one. I've script doctored a few crime dramas, and this is important for anyone considering a crime drama to hear.
Thanks for posting Max!
I'm excited to see a specific exploration of the genre

All of it. Thank you for bringing the mystery-thriller subject again.
