Caves Beach Resort Hurghada 09/2023

This summer we went on vacation to Egypt again after a long time. As always, we were looking for a suitable hotel and this time we chose the Caves Beach Resort. For our diving trips the hotel was a bit far away from our diving center. The hotel itself has a very interesting concept, which we liked at times. Unfortunately, very little is being done in Egypt to preserve values, at least for us Europeans. Therefore you can say that the hotel has seen its best days behind it.

Diesen Sommer haben wir nach langer Zeit mal wieder einen Urlaub in Ägypten gemacht. Wie immer waren wir auf der Suche nach einen entsprechend geeigneten Hotel und haben uns diesmal für das Caves Beach Resort entschieden. Für unsere Tauchausflüge war das Hotel dann doch etwas sehr weit weg von unserer Tauchbasis. Das Hotel selber hat ein sehr interessantes Konzept, welches auch zu Weilen gefallen hat. Leider wird in Ägypten sehr wenig, zumindest für uns Europäer an Werterhaltung getan. Daher kann man auch hier sagen, dass das Hotel seine besten Zeiten hinter sich hat.

• 10 km in die Altstadt nach Hurghada
• 8 km nach El Gouna mit dem Taxi
