*FYI - I mention "Hurricane Beryl" at the beginning. It was downgraded to a tropical storm, but rest assured, this forecast was made right at the advisory update. Information remains the same and is still relevant since this was made 30-45 mins ago lol.
I will be live tomorrow for an update, POSSIBLY tonight, but no guarantee.
Is that a money back guarantee if there is no update tonight ? LOL . give back my internet electrons
You're the best, Max! You are greatly appreciated! We love you! Thank you for what you do! I hope you're enjoying yourself! Looking forward to your Live streams 😎
Enjoy your break, so to speak. From what you said, things look like they're going to get busy again. Also, I'm betting that all that rain coming into the southern end of the Mississippi is going to mean more flooding....it doesn't seem that long ago that we were talking about "no flows"/drought in the upper region, now it's overflowing. Feast or famine, that River never fails to remind us who's boss.
Be prepared, not scared, and take care everyone. 🙏💜
Note: Pecos Hank isn't going to be happy about this forecast.... Along with the rest of Houston. 🙀
Thank you, Max. You've quickly become my favorite weather source and I really appreciate that you took time for the update. I live in Houston btw :)
It’s sad all the beaches that will get hammered by the storm waves is hard on coral and small fish. Wouldmangroves help protect beaches?
Sending love to Texas from Alabama
My daughter is in Texas.
Praying for everyone in the path of this storm (I'm one of them) 🙏
@@lg9052 🙏
It’s literally light rain
Praying for you 😮
@@JessicaRodriguez-zy5gz LOL Removed from reality, eh?
I live in Missouri so it’ll prolly just rain if anything lol
Max! You have been spot on with your forecasts...At least 2 days ahead of NHC! Well Done! IMHO, you have earned your degree from this storm alone!!
Max has covered this extensively and all the possible scenarios, no one should be caught off guard.
@Mo-mr8vv Thank you Max. I'm disabled and can't outrun a hurricane . You are really helping.
Some people don't have the monetary means to leave or evacuate. Those that don't just have to ride it out. I wonder how this is going to affect the border situation in Texas.
Ah! You're a breath of fresh air indeed! All quality info, concise, accurate, right to the point, and clearly enunciated language. Thank you! Keep up the great work!
Praying for every one ❤❤❤❤from Houston tx❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good to see you back Max! Can’t imagine riding this one out without you! ☮️
Honestly here in central Texas we need rain. Lots of rain. Lakes are dry and we’ve been in drought for years. Flooding isn’t ideal but I’m not going to complain if it fills the aquifer and lakes.
Same in North Central Texas...we need this rain bad...
Y’all won’t see that
Lake near me is at the highest it's been in years - We got a ton of rain and the lake went up to almost 90%. But since that month of rain ended there hasn't been a drop.
Beryl's unbelievable core convection seems to have finally broken down over land. Insane how immune to shear it's remained.
Nobody in Texas should say they were caught off guard. Even if you are not in the eye/center given the size you can still get wiped out. Fox Weather said Beryl went to the south of Jamaica. No. The eye was off the coast. Looking at the radar images Jamaica got hit. The people there would tell you they got hit. The affects extend way out from the center.
Thank you!!! I frequently tell my family about hurricane news when it's hurricane season and they say I worry too much because we live inland in Austin tx. They think that hurricanes are one dimensional. They don't realize that hurricanes actually have surface area beyond their eye and that massive rain and flooding happens inland as well.
In fact, I compared Beryl to Harvey and they completely ignored that the eye actually hit corpus christi but all the strong rain was sent northeast into Houston. And now that I was right and the forecast updated Beryl from hitting northeast Mexico to further inland in Texas, they say I just like to argue. While it seems unlikely, I wouldnt be surprised if Beryl rapidly intensifies before hitting the coast just like how I compared to Harvey
@@ouffman769 I'd say you're spot on!
Hi Max, I hope you’re enjoying your vacation! Praying for everyone in the path of the hurricane 🙏
Hey bro. Hope you're doing well this lovely afternoon.
Thank you for keeping us informed, Max. We're continuing to pray for those in the path of this hurricane.
We desperately need the rain in South Texas
@feliciabacon9923 the problem as I see it is that south TX needs rain, not storms. Even if it only hits as a tropical storm, it's going to dump on south TX which will wash away the top soil instead of hydrating it.
@@feliciabacon9923 be careful what you ask for
@@mikegutierrez7278yeah hurricanes are…
Congratulations… your prayers are about to be answered…
Have you ever been through a hurricane? You get a lot more than rain, I assure you.
Thanks for the update, waiting for the rain in Texas!
Slowing down will cause it to shift directions more directly north.
Fun Fact: I was on Singer Island when a Tropical Storm was supposed to hit Miami. Instead of hitting Miami, the eye jumped and hit us almost head on.
And?
I really hope this is wrong. I truly appreciate the info. It was well done, and informative, but understandable as well. I only hope it's wrong because I'm near San Antonio, and we have been SO dry, that Northern track taking the hurricane from South Padre straight north over San Antonio would give us the rain we so desperately need, and give Houston a break, since they're already dealing with flooding. Come on, Beryl! Welcome to San Antonio! Come hang out with US for a few days! :D Thanks again!
Model guidance will all have to be thrown out with that northern jump of the center wow that surprised me.
Thanks for posting from vacation, you didn’t have to but you did and it is very appreciated!
Max was right
I estimate cat 3 at landfall save this comment:
Doubt it
Based on what exactly?
@@mikegutierrez7278the storm will spend almost 2 days over warm waters…
Were not gonna manifest that shit. Watch your thoughts.
@@stayinthevortex no such thing as manifesting, it’s going to be in extremely hot water for enough time to amplify trust me.
☔🌩🌀🌩☔ Thank you for keeping all of us Informed! ☔🌩🌀🌩☔
It has been consistently following the northern part of the tracks over the last few days. I wouldn't be supposed if it creeps up to Houston "surprising" everyone.
They are saying it’s most likely Galveston/ Houston. May God bless and protect us all 🤲
I have family in Houston 😮
Who is they?
Thanks!
Ft.worth texas needs rain badly. My yard looks like cracks about 1.5 to 2.0 inches.
Remember many years ago back & front yards, one could stick ✋️ in those big cracks. Who knows how far one would have had to dig if cell phone or keys would have fell in them.😮 Live in Kansas.
I’m in Cancun right now and went through hurricane Beryl yesterday. I’m about to fly back to my home in south Texas tomorrow 💀
I have a coworker that weekend over this week. How bad was beryl there?
Glad you’re ok.
@@artsygirlforlife , Praying for you.
Hit by the same storm twice
@@BisonBill It wasn’t terrible, we never lost power but lots of trees fell over. Everyone was ok though
@@terryall4 Thank you 🫶
You have the most American accent ever. I love it for the weather forecast. Very fitting 😃
Louisiana doesn’t want it!
It’s going to CC TX, I’m certain on this because, 4 years ago, it happened with a C1. The thumbnail is a little clickbaity but, this isn’t going to be a strong storm wind wise but rain, like it was in 2020 July 24th in CC TX.
Thanks Max. I'm in Houston so appreciate the heads up. Have a blessed day.
I'm worried it'll cut up northeasterly and hit the panhandle.
Great update!
Life has been so boring, hurricane beryl finely brings some fun.
Houston, we have a problem. Lol sorry i had to XD
get out emoji here , LOL
We need the rain soooooo bad in Austin TX past couple years we have barely gotten any
You about to get what you are asking for and sooooooo much more.
Those chemtrails sprayed before that April eclipse
I'm in North Austin and rain clouds have formed over my head and then I see them dump rain in the distance when they pass us
Thank you Max!
I just got back from North Padre Island. We got super lucky and missed the first storm, and now missing this one. We picked the perfect time to go. The weather was perfect, didn't rain at all, and we were worried because up until the day we left June 23rd, the forecast was calling for rain . We definitely dodged a ruined 10-day vacation.
Looks like you also missed the shark attacks?
@@ShiryoneI was JUST about to comment about the shark attacks that happened on Padre Island! 😮
Hit us this morning in Playa Del Carmen. Power out around much of the city, cleanup has almost finished and businesses are starting to reopen
I’m currently on the cruise next to Cozumel. They closed all exteriors. Crazy rocky but everyone is having fun… if they aren’t seasick lol
Thanks Max
This is getting good, Beryl is now a tropical storm, but the bad thing is, it is going to bring flooding, hurricane force winds, and possibly storm surge
quit ur yapping u do it every video
@@ZanderJigglyPuff Hurricane force winds?! From a hurricane?! No way!!!!
Ya idk where u live but it’s so dry here the dirt is cracking we need some big rain I say bring it on

AT&T has their disaster relief team ready for when they need to restore service to potentially damaged towers in southern Texas but to anyone in southern Texas I will be praying for y’all
One would think that this would intensify due to the extraordinary warm gulf water.
I'm hoping southern Oklahoma around LakeTexoma gets a lot of rain.🤞
Max has been spot on with his analysis.
You are going to be busy in a few days. Rest up, Max!
Need it to stay west of I35 in Texas. All the reservoirs are low
I live in Corpus Christi 🤦🏽♂️
Space X is located near South Padre Island.
Oil and gas companies/refineries along the Texas/Louisiana coastline.
Oklahoma watching
With the previous rapid intensification, I just don’t see how the enters the gulf and doesn’t get to a cat3 again.
it could. but it depends on certain factors.
Weather Channel has an Ocean Heat Content map that shows waters in the western Gulf are much cooler right now than in the Caribbean. Later in the season I don’t expect to have such luck.
@@midcenturymoldy ok, I thought they were hot all over. But if they’re much cooler than I agree it likely wouldn’t explode like before
Bring it ! To Texas !
Oh crap, I'm in Houston, I hope we're ready
Our weather systems becoming less rain but when rain occurs it’s extreme. We are unable to hold all the excess water and sadly ends up in oceans. We need more reservoirs to catch extreme events as rain intervals become longer. Hot temps hold more water vapor where water becomes greenhouse gas. Less rain/snow melt make it to rivers as land so dry
I Have A Question. Will It Hit North Carolina? I'm Always Worried About NC.
NWS/NOAA/OCS state landfall between 7 PM Sunday Night and 1 AM Monday, the eye will be basically over Victoria TX, then as it moves inland the eye will cross over Bryan
Uhhh… the NHC has this making landfall on Corpus Christi as a high end CAT 1 with winds of 90 MPH..
Could it become a splitting storm and form 2 hurricanes?
We don't want no flying trampolines in New Mexico so thank you!
Pray for the people
The red part on the Weather Channel extends to Southern Oklahoma
Thank you Max for keeping us informed. Enjoy the rest of your vacation. ❤
Im in NW Oklahoma, right in the corner section where the tail comes out. How likely is it we will get alot of rain from this?
I wonder if DFW will see a lot of rain
Has a hurricane ever split into 2 separate hurricanes and go different directions?
I think Louisiana and Texas
Do all meteorogists take a course in how to use 1000 words to say what could be said in 100?
This storm is relentless!Devastated our sister isle Carriacou and the Grenadine islands.
I'm gonna get slammed by the storms. Waco, Texas
I'll go with Mexico landfill as a low CAT 2 for 2000 Alex
There is alot of attention on the hurricane/TS...Could the jet stream north of Houston / mid-US push the storm eastward? Like another Katrina event. Because the jet stream is going ESE, meanwhile the TS is going north. I'm fine with lots of rain, just no tornados.
Now hold on just a minute there Maxwell.. Just a few days ago you were sayin' this here Storm wasn't gonna be any problem!😂 You said it was headed South into Mexico! *I would be very pleased if you could bring it to Interstate 20 at the Nolan/Mitchell County Line out West Texas way.. You could predict that anyway.. It doesn't have to come true.. Throw us dry farmers a bone will ya?
VERY WELL EXPLAINED. Thank you.😊
I hate the way the “landfall” determination is on where the eye goes to shore. Floyd skirted the coast in FL and did a LOT of damage, but we weren’t “technically” hit because it never made landfall. Landfall ought to be where the hurricane force winds hit, at least, if not where the bands first strike.
I mean think about it…by the time the eye gets to shore, half the hurricane has already been in play on land.
Thank you for this. this forecast is sponsored by cheese curds
Thanks for the coverage!
Hope you enjoyed the 4th of July
Is this gonna have any impact in the DFW area? We need the rain lol
We don’t need the rain. Is not even that hot
Nah Houston’s cooked
Louisiana needs the rain
My computer model shows it being a category 3 when it reenters the U.S
r u on vacation??? ur in a COMPLETLY different place
So houston will get a direct hit ?
Hurricanes are great for the ocean brings nutrients to the surface cleans the water bring them on just don't live near the ocean and you will be ok lol
Thanks Max😊 I appreciate your forecasting and hope you are enjoying your vacation time. Be sure to rest up though too lol. You shall be a busy man again very soon when Beryl reaches the coast line on Texas.
I got a feeling it's going to be worse than it was before it crossed the fishtail ok Mexico.
Thanks for the update. Looking forward to the next live stream. ❤
sucks to figure out that hurricanes are caused by electro magnetic pulses, not heat...
Just gonna be a rainy shower
Watch out Louisiana
Gov. Abbott said his state fueled jet is ready to go.
Most click bait title. At worst it would be a cat 2
you dont know that.
We need the rain cool breezes and clouds it’s hot over here BUT we don’t need it’s upgrading on the Gulf of Mexico to a cat 3 or 4 that would be crazy like how it first begun
I will be there for all the lives im in the path for it so thanks for the warning
