At the boss fight it really helps if you step under him after every attack you do (sometimes twice before you hit back). The enemy hits slightly faster than you so over the course of the entire fight he will get "free hits". This will even it out to 1:1 and make it easier to win at low 20's guard.

I suggest using the step under method to equalise both your attack speeds. When you start your attack animation, move underneath the thief. Let auto retaliation start your next attack before moving under again.

You can click on the mini map to point where your character goes, just like in OSRS. FYI to those who don't know.
Yeah true. You can now use the minimap to move up to 2 chunks away. This vid was recorded before that was possible.
