Hanukkah is a sacred time. Ne?? Maccabees prefigured devotion to the Holy Souls. I thought the Maccabees book was deleted from Jewish Scriptures. Catholics adopted the books. I love Freddy Mercury and pray for him to rest in peace but did he ever convert?? Poor thing. His lifestyle was not edifying. I so hope on his deathbed he turned to God but we had no indication of a conversion. He stopped 'sleeping around' a few years before he died but that was because his illness was taking a toll on him. Your rendition would be funny otherwise. sigh
