Why you guys focused on something he was cleared to play? Media wants to throw 🔥 onto something which has been resolved with full cooperation on the investigation
Welcome to the list of trolls commenting on the case without reading the 30-page report. Just read it, three independent experts hired by the tribunal (who didn't know about the identity of the player) indicated clearly that the exposure was accidental due to the low trace found. Also, he was able to play after a short suspension since he immediately submitted an appeal with evidence of his innocence. In the other cases that people keep referring to, the players literally ingested banned substances and weren't able to give an explanation.
He was tested twice within an eight day span. If I am not mistaken, clostebol can remain in the body for up to 30 days, depending on the sensitivity of the testing method. It can also be transferred by coming in contact with someone who has used it. His coaching staff and physiotherapist should have been more cautious. They were very careless if you ask me. His reasoning for the positive results is plausible. Also, in Italy, Trofodermin that contains clostebol is readily available over the counter. Nonetheless, the amount that was found in his system, has no impact on his performance.
This headline is so biased for clicks. He tested positive twice, in the period of less than two weeks, which makes his story even more credible. He had one billionth of a gram (58,000 times smaller than a grain of salt), and he followed the exact protocol required and submitted the reason in the given 5-day time window which allows players to be heard quickly. The part he did have an advantage on, which he acknowledged, was he had the money to get lawyers to get everything done properly. So the issue is really making sure proper legal funding for good representation for all players is in place, not if he doped or they made some exception for him, which isn’t the case. As for Krygios’ statement, he made that lightning quick statement prior to the details being released. It was just another example of how a rush to judgment without knowing the actual facts just make you look stupid. We have to do a better job of being more nuanced.
Notice how no doctors are being interviewed publicly on TV for this dilemma? They would not be able to explain away this issue with science because the story seems far fetched to begin with. Please have medical professionals explain if Sinner's story and the stories these tennis pundits are asking us to believe are plausible. Have you ever seen one doctor on TV talking about this publicly providing their opinion on the Tennis Channel or ESPN? It's not fair to put the other players in the place of a professional doctor to mediate his innocence.
DID THEY DO THAT TO SIMONA HALEP? DID THEY DO THAT TO HER, GIVING HER DOUBTS,??? NO, OUTRIGHT THEY SUSPENDED SIMONA HALEP WITHOUT ANY FANFARE!!!! AND SHE ACCEPTED IT CUZ SHE KNOWS SHE HAS VIOLATED THE ITF RULES!!!!
Glad that doping episode caused minimum possible loss to Sinner save the inevitable public comments. Having said that, one is saddened that the integrity of the protection of integrity authorities themselves took a beating and justifiably so. The following observations are based on the information disclosed in the findings of the tribunal itself. Physio states that he cannot remember washing his hands between spraying his finger and treating the Player’s feet.(para 44) The ITIA points out that Mr Naldi did not wash his hands after using a medical spray to treat his own wounds prior to making direct contact with the Player’s skin (para 74.) The ITIA as a prosecutor instead of contesting this submission itself acts as an advocate of the prosecuted and makes a statement (unjustifiably) favorable to the prosecuted thus preempting the need for determining this crucial point by the tribunal. The experts, have confirmed inadvertent contamination from Mr Naldi’s treatment in the manner described could explain the presence of paraClostebol metabolites in the Player’s system.(para 48). In the manner clearly means treating Sinner without washing his hands. Because and only because the experts thought that the physio treated Sinner without washing his hands they made such a statement. Sinner did not ask the physio whether he had washed his hands. Because he was sure and justifiably so, that the physio had washed his hands. Asking such a question would be silly, bordering on an insult. Otherwise it can not be said that Sinner has taken utmost care. If Sinner was sure why was not ITIA? ITIA went out of the way to help Sinner.
Maybe dig a little deeper and do some reading before blindly believing the biased headline and manipulated snippets of interviews that makes up this shitty short story put together by ppl who are clearly salty that Sinner will prob knock out most of their players.
If it was a mistake there was no need to fire his staff...... But he is ranked #1 and its all about money so of course he'll play.... As a top player you can get away w murder (unless you are black).

To read a report require a genuine interest to the truth. Who really care about.

Why did they hide it for 6 months? - that’s the problem
That's not the problem. It's the correct procedure.

Why even bother having rules if that's the case? I guess they get to pick and choose which ones they actually want to follow... Ugh

@lucianamattoni5063 Excuses, excuses, excuses... Do you think rules don't apply? GROW UP!!!
I just saw a goat 🐐 speaking here.

With picograms of a topical steroid in his system, jannik will dominate tennis for years. 😊
Isn't that nice. USTA did a carve-out for the CHEATER!
What is up with the double standard if he tested positive twice for a banned substance he should be gone
The second test was just after the first one, and they do it to check for false positives. Of course, the substance was still there in lower amounts.
