Hi Carlos. Sorry to have to say this but once 99.99999% of people hear the 2015 Sohyang performance of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" they just don't care about this performance. I could wish it were otherwise but this will never change. But please keep analyzing her singing for us. She is the best in the world and we all love her madly! 😇

항상 소향의 노래를 들을때마다 소름이 돋고, 온몸에 오한이 온다. 듣는 사람도 집중하면 이런데, 본인은 얼마나 온몸으로 힘을 다해 진심을 쏟아부어 노래하는 걸까..진짜 20년째 내 인생 최고의 가수였고, 앞으로도 최고의 가수이지 않을까 싶다.

So Hyang was not well here. Not fully recovered from another bout with pneumonia. The Immortal Songs 2, is the better version.
The fact that she can sing like that coming off pneumonia is amazing! The immortal songs version is the first one I saw.
@Carlos Santiago To me, it proves her technique is rock solid. In the event you haven't yet reacted to, So Hyang, singing, 'You Raise Me Up', also from Immortal Songs 2. The performance almost ended So Hyang's singing career. Again, she delivered a flawless, master class performance.

She wasn't well here and the audio wasn't the best either. You want the Immortal Songs 2 performance. Please try to avoid her singing while ill. I know she doesn't like to disappoint fans but its rather sad to know she possibly had a pain going through her head on the high notes as she mentioned during an interview. Fans will tell you the correct clips to use if you ask.
Immortal songs 2 was the first version I watched! Even while ill she sings better than most people!

Hi Carlos. Just joined your channel as I like your analysis of the singers as well has their performances. I came across Sohyang and like you was blown away by her technique. I went through your catalogue but couldn't find any reviews of another of my favourite singers Gigi de Lana. If you want a treat check out a couple of her live studio performances. You have to realise these songs are performed as a result of her viewers requesting songs whilst watching her livestream. She and her band have little rehearsal time and as English is not her first language she has the lyrics up on an ipad which you can see her check from time to time.
