Still waiting for someone to bring back the little trackpad nub that the HTC desire had, but on the back so your index finger can finely use it while the whole screen remains visible without fingers and thumbs so you can see the exact pixel you're interacting with instead of trying to place your giant finger tip in just the right place. It might need 2 nubs so left handed people are catered for but the back of phones is just empty space apart from the camera. Surely one of the manufacturers desperate for something unique to stand out can pick this up.
I still fail to see how "The Metaverse" is in any way an innovation over VR Chat. The only difference is Meta's probably closed ecosystem and the marketing budget, and we already have plenty of those.
Phone innovations? Lackluster and uninspiring 'Advances'? Well, you concentrated on the 'Big Players', but it's surprising that unlike other 'Big' tech reviewers, you showed us the smaller companies trying something different... (Though too briefly)...Like, Planet Computers and their new and updated 'Astro Slide 5G'. A slide out landscape physical QWERTY keyboard phone (akin to the old Nokia E7 design)... As well as Android, they are planning to have it run on Linux if you so choose,, 5G as the name suggests, and its faster and much improved over their original... Shame a little more time wasn't spent on it... Some viewers/comenters may say "Oh who cares about physical keyboard phones, Blackberry died a death so leave it alone"... Well folks consider this little nugget of real life... One of the highest percentages of daily uses for our phones statistically over the past couple of years is..... Texting, messaging, emailing, and keyboard input.... It is STILL one of the biggest ways people communicate, not phone calls or video calls... Messaging (of various means)... So, why companies are not thinking about this is still a little weird. If they want to bring something 'New' then, and updated slimline design physical keyboard phone like the Astro Slide 5G, or, for HMD/Nokia, a newer updated E7 (heck, that wasn't even a thick phone in them days!! With Blackberry 'Leaving the room' so to speak, and Unihertz actually the only ones (so far) making a half way decent BB alternative, considering the facts of the stats I mentioned, added to the fact that HMD/Nokia seem to be on a 'Retro' kick recently with their 3310, 8110 Banana, 6310, why don't they release something like a Kai OS E63 or E71, or E7? I mean really, trying to Whatsapp on an ancient design T9 based Alpha-Numeric keyboard is just one of the silliest decisions ever!! Come on HMD/Nokia, Do what you did best, bring us a modern day 'Communicator' type device! 🤔 😎🇬🇧
I've resorted to watch click on YT because BBC America's program timing is nowhere close to the guide...programs off by more than 1.5 hours and all of those (dumb) 5-minute segments wrecking my dvr (set to start 10 min prior and stop1.5 hrs after because of the guide disconnect)
Wow That was a massively disappointing 24 second, Planet. I get that things are rough, and I'm willing to be patient, but the AstroGlide it's coming out over a year late. Is just getting really frustrating - all of its tech is gonna be wicked out-dated by the time we get it, and sending us video coverage that amounts to "hey, it's a thing" is just like... It's not like a slap in the face or anything, but it just feels poorly thought-out. Maybe if the video covered it in any depth whatsoever, but it's approaching "grumble-grumble-grumble" territory...

I will wait another year and hopefully the headphone jack will return. Note, I use Bluetooth though but still need the headphone jack.

Every other smartphone manufacturer is waiting for Apple to innovate, so they can copy.
And Apple is no more into innovations.

Does Apple not bother showing up to these tech events?
Snobs?
They have their own announcement events.

Lol that was a guess but I went back and timed it, and, yeah, it's right about 24 seconds.
