I have cancer, I got it at 3 and the ward I was on had a PS2 and you couldn't get me away from it, I can't remember if it helped with pain but it definitely helped to pass the time and kept me entertainment
@@speedkiller53 sly cooper 2, I must of played through that game multiple times it’s my favourite game. When I got my own ps2 it came with the original ratchet and clank so I have a lot of nostalgia for that.
The nervous system wants to do something about perceived dangers (fight or flight) even though the 'angers' nowadays are just stressful admin to deal with. There's no tiger to kill or run away from to tell your nervous system that the danger has passed and that it can relax, leading to high elevated stress. It makes that video games could be the fight or flight response that triggers the system to go back to low alert once you've killed the baddie.
