The Ilford Recorder is the most recognised publication for the town's local news. Originally separate from The Ilford Post, it eventually came under the same owner and Media House on the High Road was their home. In 2003 the original Media House was being demolished to make way for a new state-of-the-art premises for publisher Archant's London titles. But that didn't last long at all.

I once won a £50 voucher from participating in a competition in the Ilford Recorder way back in July 1997

Great insight again, thanks! The Cauliflower pub a few doors down is a site thats been neglected for a while. Shame a use cannot be found for old buildings with great design and features.
