I don’t want her to lose a life when confronting that bastard and I don’t want to see that stupid laugh and stupid smile on his face. That is why I’m in training - using the story mode without the cutscenes. That’s my training.
You forgot it mention Carol gets more pissed over Brevon turning Mila into a Mutated Monster with his knife when you get to this part of Brevon’s boss battle.

No it's not free, the price varies from song to song depending on length amd complexity. It's all explained in the links I put in the description if you do a bit of reading
Sonic would probably have to rely on damage-boosting tho, and the slash attack (the one that deals six damage) might be an instant kill anyway. If anything, Lilac is much more capable of withstanding attacks.

Best to land on Avalice either after Brevon's seen (Lilac/Carol) try, or long enough before then that Brevon's not an issue anyway.
