I get my Pro Ceed GT 1.6 on monday, Got a approved used 2000mile GT Line/Tech version for under £15000 cheap insurance as well to boot, I'm a very happy bunny.
I just bought myself the 1.6 GT. can't wait 2 pick her up. She has only done 25k miles and cost me 12grand. Not 2 shabby!! I took her out 4 a test drive and was surprised at how much torch there was. I think a car company that offers a 7yr warranty must be pretty confident in it's ability. I compared it 2 the golf GTI and although I feel the golf looks slightly nicer, value 4 money this GT is way surperiour. Who else has 1?
You guys made so many mix ups in this video... Constantly mixing up the GT (204hp) and GT-line (98 or 118hp 1.0L engine)... Also mixing up the specification levels and what you get in each one.
I wish I waited several months and bought this new GT instead of my 2015 GT. Wheels and color are great! And I also like the improved breaks, this is what my car lacks a little bit.
not as fast as a focus st etc. if that bothers you buy a focus st. where as kia give you a 7 year warranty or 10 in USA I believe because they believe in the quality of the product. there is a nice wee video on RUclips of this car against a clio rs and a Peugeot 208 gti in a drag race in which it wins, so it is still quite a quick car. have a look at the fifth gear test of this car on RUclips and get a proper test. I was looking at a focus st in the near future but I am seriously considering this car after some positive reviews.
This is a good car :) It is definitely not as quick as Golf GTI, it's more on the level of Leon 1.8T and similar cars. But it's definitely quick enough for all practical uses, unless you're going to do drag racing.
I bought my KIA Ceed GT in 2017 and I still don't know what the GT button does besides increasing the engine sound and change the gauge, just wanted to find some info on that.
I hate to break it to you, the extra 'engine sound' is through the speakers apparently, not real engine/exhaust sound. I'm not sure what else the button does
@@Hargan yup, it's really unfortunate... I'd be cool if the suspension and the steering wheel got a bit stiffer or the exaust louder. I just got a custom exhaust and downpipe fitted in with a Varex muffler and now I'm looking someone to see if they can somehow connect the GT button to the valve mechanism.
£23,000 for this car, it can't compete with the Golf GTI or ST it should be around £17,000 then it would be more of a bargain for the performance it gives.
Hawkeyes at the ready lol....... It's a nice looking car, but at 5:43min - is that RUST, RUST!! (on a new car!!) around the e' on the cee'd emblem? Not good, and if so, doesn't bode well for the longevity of paintwork. Lets hope it's just dirt! Won't buy one though, just not practical enough rear seating area. And way to pricy for this brand/make/trim of car when aims to compete against Golf GTI, 308GTI and Focus ST - much more established cars.

Picking my 1.6 gt up tomorrow.
Do you still have yours?

You missed out Alex, this model is definitely an improvement, but hey still a great car either way.
I don't understand why we don't have this model in the United States. It would sell like crazy!
+777PharmD777 Yeah because American vehicles suck!
Liking this car more and more.
Wow that does really look so nice. Well kia you done a good job.
02:58 Sound department - cue the swarm of bees under the dash!

Definitely won't beat my Peugeot Sport 208 0-60 6.2 I've managed it in 6.4...

@@dynatosanax ooo that sounds like a good idea
I just can't understand why didn't they use this face for a new Sportage !?
+nemanja milosevic becausee new sportages face looks better
Ais Makosi nah.
A 1 litre turbo, in my opinion, just isn't enough for a car like this
It's a 1.6 T 201bhp
+Bruce Lee The GT has a 1.6L 204hp engine.
It is the GT-line that only has the 1.0L 3cyl engine. This video made quite a big error there.
+Beardecough I have owned 2 of these cars and I think you will find that this is the GT tech as it comes with headlight washers . Gt spec doesn't
+Mark Jarrett there is only one spec level on the facelift.
+Beardecough I stand corrected you sir I right things have changed since I last owned a gt tech .

Rob Lombardi The standard equipment is better than pretty much any other car in this class. Unfortunately that does put the price up.
harika tek kelimeyle..
