This is actually a very smart investment vs a warehouse or rented office space. Between the tax write-offs & the fact that after you grow out of this space you'll have a home you can rent, sell or give your children/family.. it's a great move.
You should knock the wall down on the left hand side next to the steps and do some floating stairs. Only a few minutes into the video so I'm not sure if you did that or not.
If you’re still looking into cabinets my uncle actually does cheap kitchens all over the tri-state area and beyond…. It’s called Express Kitchen & Bath if you wanna check it up
GAMER’S PARADISE IN THE BASEMENT!!! 🙌🏾 That’s your brand! Got to go big in your new studio. I’m sure there are some sponsors out there for you that want to help you build a gaming room from scratch. So many people are building game rooms these days 😃 Plus, the other side with the low clearance could be games like pool, air hockey, table games, etc.
Honestly, I want to see videos of the construction and designing of the whole place. Like a before and after, explaining your choices and stuff. How to convert our home into a smart home!
Absolutely love love this!! It really is going to be amazing to watch you convert this into a smart home and as an average consumer, I truly think this is more relatable than a studio. Keep pushing forward y’all are doing amazing!!! ❤❤❤
The extra room should be a Gunpla build room. You can use the closets for all the to-get-to models and install shelving for the completed kits. You could also use it as a top-down video room with a table in the center. Use for both unboxing videos and Gunpla builds.
Firstly congrats for this new studio house, it's been a decade of hardwork and dedication to give us the sweetest all round dope average tech videos, and yesss I'd love to see a video of every room being made to completion, just name it 'Average Consumer Studio'
Firstly congratulations on the new studio. I like the approach you took getting a house. I think that having the editors help make each desk their own personal space would be a fun video on its own. It allows the viewer a chance to get to know everyone else on the team better. I would personally do a gamers paradise/lounge in the large room upstairs and leave the basement for storage, since you are not going to have much head space after ceilings and such went in. The extra room could potentially be either a bedroom for bedroom tech or a nursery so that you have a spot to bring the kids with you. Honestly I would go for the second one so the kids have their own space and also kid and nursery tech is not talked about as much and I think it would be a good add on for the channel. If you did go with a bedroom then a sleep pod would be good for staff since studies have shown that short naps boost productivity. Also would be cool to find someone that could make videos using a tech kitchen and really utilizing it all to its max potential. I would enjoy watching you build out each room as you guys do it. That would be a good series. So much you can do here and that’s really exciting.
I love the concept of a house being a studio and also would love a series, one recommendation from me would be to keep every streamlined like having all the filming in one floor, all the offices in one floor and the the other floor for something else instead of A roll on the main floor, B roll basement and the other one the upper floor! so maybe all filming on main floor, upper floor is editing/chilling/office and basement can be for something else
That third bedroom upstairs should def be for bedroom tech. You have a whole house at your disposal, don’t squander the opportunity to massively tech out your headquarters.
Definitely show each room build from the ground up, then over time everyone can see the house grow and transform. Super excited for you guys! Sending big love from Australia
Love the thought of having a home instead of a warehouse, it gives off the avg consumer vibes and it's smart. Can't wait to see the transformation in each room.
In the A-roll room, you can have a multiple tv setup behind some see through curtains and on the screens you can have a loop of trains going back and forth! Just an idea!
Idea…Heated driveway and smart floors with the vacuum under the cabinets maybe heated floors too. I’m excited where the channel is going. Especially since I’m thinking about getting a new home. Let’s gooooo!
It's funny that you showed LTT as one of the RUclipsrs who gets a big crazy office building for their studio because LTT was in a house for a few years before their office.
The best thing about watching this video is seeing Jud be really happy and excited for this big step but also see him be a leader, and someone who’s helping his company grow in really cool ways.
This setup is gonna be unreal, super happy and excited for you guys! Getting major Japanese vibes from that back garden which is awesome. Definitely make the basement into a gamer’s bunker, keep it industrial looking. And ya this should be a series, love the whole concept of keeping it like a regular home
You still may be way above the average consumer because your studio is bigger than my actual house but this is dope! 😂 You know we think alike so this is also my goal this year. Keep it up big homie!
I work in construction and as ive come to realize is you want to essentially section off where your doing tasks so say your doing a phone you dont want to be walking up and down steps multiple times for one phone. Kind of dedicate each floor to specific tasks it will feel much more smooth. 1st floor would be strictly recording and editing. 2nd floor would be games and entertainment. Basement storage or w.e else you may need. The best thing to do would be think about how you do it now and what you don’t like you change b4 you set everything up.
Good to know this was shot earlier... I almost thought it was an "April 1st" vid from the title alone... 😁 ... Anyways, good luck with everything man...
Basement can be used for like VR experience room, maybe movie theater, vintage game machine room, make a bowling alley? Laser tag room? Escape rooms? And YES to room series!!
Definitely would love to watch the whole process! I think it would be cool to make certain rooms similar to bedrooms etc so you can showcase different smart home products and how to apply it in everyone’s homes. Even the bathrooms!
Yes, you should create a how-to build-out series with a dedicated playlist. In the basement, add an additional half-bath with another egress. Dropping the floor would be an ideal remedy in the future. Wishing you and the team continued success. 😊
Absolutely make it a series! Idea for the gamer paradise would be having a dedicated retro space. Getting the Nintendo, the wall art, the beanbag chair, all of it. Appreciation for where we came from when you wanna kick it old school!
Definitely think each room should have its dedicated theme so they don’t seem repetitive, office space, gaming, entertainment, maybe even like diy/hobbiest maker tech? I’m sure whatever you all do it will be fun to watch!
14:06 I marked the time because I paused and and ran to the comments to make sure I said this....YES! PLEASE MAKE THE WHOLE HOUSE SET UP A SERIES I WILL WATCH EVERY SECOND!!!!
Imagine the neighbors come over to say hi and introduce themselves but find out it’s a whole house for filming RUclips videos 😂 Huge congrats to you guys! So hyped to see what the future holds
The room upstairs could be a "home gym" set up where you guys test out workout and gym tech, the garage could be the one used for the top down shots room and have permanent set ups for the cameras and tables or it could be used as a room to review cars.
I first came across your channel when I was living in Hawaii back 2012 and Beats headphones were new. Been here since , I’m old too😊❤. Love your channel , and happy for you and the squad.
I would love to see each room being made over and the tech that is used in a full series. You could do with a massive tech unboxing area with its own storage space. Would love to see how you integrate some of the products you unbox in the massive tech unboxings. That's my favourite part of the channel.
Series, heck ya. Love me a good home makeover project. Basement all out video arcade gamers vibe. Old school meets new school. Arcade games, pin ball, console set ups with avg consumer spin.
As for the extra room, you could try a Murphy bed(?) like a nicer one that would fold away so you can have the “bedroom set” as well as a full top down/B roll set. Maybe a desk on lockable casters so it can be moved within the room(?)
I think it would be so dope to have a sponsor branded room that you could sell the branding rights for. Take Xbox for example allow them to have a room with monitors, wall decals etc where you review there products exclusively. Also, maybe make a room for the kiddos that is dedicated to reviewing smart home tech for infinite and todlers similar to how you did the episode of your sons room. Owning the space will make it more attractive for branding opportunities. Start now to seek out collaborations before the spaces are complete and would possibly need to be changed. Lastly, use the wall with shelf’s to highlight the tech that you love that way brands will continue you to send top tier merchandise that will be seen in multiple videos.
Congrats to the team! This is such a different a creative way to utilize a home. It would be awesome to see it's creation as a series. I would love to see that one extra room as a bedroom, and show off tech that you could use in your bedroom, like a smart bed or automated routines.
Watching this video you have a blank canvas not only for the tech, but also for creating or staging a home. My wife is an amazing interior designer who has made our home a virtual showplace. I believe she could do the same for your space.
This is a smart idea. If you ever move on or get in a bind it will be easy to sell a house as an asset versus a commercial space. Not to mention leasing a space and building it out isn't giving you any returns if you don't own it for the niche work you do at the present. Like you said, for demo and testing this makes the ideal platform being an "average consumer."
Unlikely you’ll see this but my idea that may come somewhat in handy is keep the downstairs the way you wanted it. (In order shown) set the first room up as the gamer’s paradise, set the second room and the “bedroom” third room make your office. It’s an odd shape so idk what else you could do with that room, and the last room as the lounge/break room you had planned for the first. It’s my personal opinion. Basement if it doesn’t play out is good for storage space for the many things y’all probably get. Garage can be used for test drive vehicles if you get those
I really like how you have a twist to everything. I can’t imagine how tough it is to figure out how to make a video of a device 80 other RUclipsrs are doing as well. But you have figured out how to do that so well. This is extremely smart. I think you can do some other reviews that you normally didn’t because of maybe some limitations to renting. I’m excited to see where your channel goes from here. Also this house is sick I would love to own this. I’d say make sure the house is very modular. Be able to review all tvs, multiple refrigerators, pc builds, home tech etc…
SO hyped to see you making the ultimate smart home and studio setup! I'm gonna be so into all the tech to make home life better because for my foreseeable future it really will be all about home studio work rather than renting a studio just for work or tech things! Also looking forward to how you're gonna tackle lighting and showcasing your gundams!
OK this going to be EPIC!! To let people see how to apply TECH in there home etc.. you are the ULTIMATE AVERAGE CONSUMER.. CONGRATULATIONS!! on the new studio. PS. and 👏 on the new baby .👶
This looks like it’ll be a great new studio for you guys. I’d like to see the process for each room. It would be interesting to see just how you get everything set up.
I have seen you move 3,4 or 5 times Jay, been fun so far to follow your growth. And you still are that genuine and humble guy i started followed 7 YEARS ago because we both LOVE Nintendo and specially Dragon Ball. Im also moving soon and making my own gamers paradise much love from a Swede!
I agree with another commenter. I'm sure you guys will make the basement work out in your favor. Those ceiling ducts could honestly add to the whole gamer aesthetic.
The one room you were unsure of could be focused on new babies! That way you can show off that stuff without being invasive with your own home. Timing will be perfect with the new kid on the way. Stuff like monitors etc that new or first time parents might consider.
In the basement I'd do some clear or frosted acrylic panels with back lighting behind it, make it feel like a gamers space...............and yes I'd love to see this as a series.
Been a fan for a long time! Congrats on 11 years you guys. We’re building our first home. Wish you guys were close by and tech out our home. (*Light bulb idea??*)
This is amazing, been watching since 2016 and love the progression! The idea for a home to test actual tech products is genius. Keep up the great videos!
Congratulations on the new space! Keep up the great work! As for suggestions - the editors room can be another set/overhead camera rig. The biggest room on the first floor should be the editors room imo. Everyone can collaborate together in some huge space. The streaming room can be turned into living/chilling room with TVs and consoles and gaming setups. The extra room can be converted into the gamer's paradise as it has great windows. Or maybe a room for your tech hauls/unboxing. The basement can be a makeshift gym or even used for storage.
Judd, love the videos. I have been watching the channel for years and it is exciting to see how far you (and the team) have come! Excited for this new opportunity. Love the idea of buying a house to use as a studio. A unique idea, and something you can build and be proud of! Basement definitely needs to be a gamer's paradise or even a home theater type layout. Keep up the great work!
It will be great if you do a DIY kind of/ also the professional way kind of each room. Hiding cables, how to make the wifi stronger, wireless devices, etc… It looks awesome, great job.
I highly highly suggest you run whole home Ethernet cable in every room. That way you can have a mesh router in each room you need it and where you need be hard wired you can add a hub to hard wire several clients.
Good Idea J you could have two barn doors, that are automatically open & close, also you could have automatic lights that could come on as you go up & down the stairs, that's just start with 👍🏻 Also would love to see as it progresses, that would be amazing
Yes make it a series! Each room! VOTE TO THE TOP!
I agree techsource did the same thing and it was a cool series
Yes, I agree. A series on the build out will be nice.
Agree!!!! Show the journey HGTV STYLE🤣🤣
Agree
AGREEE🎉
This is actually a very smart investment vs a warehouse or rented office space. Between the tax write-offs & the fact that after you grow out of this space you'll have a home you can rent, sell or give your children/family.. it's a great move.
I would love to see this as a full series.
Same
I feel like the home studio is way more relatable than an office building studio space. This is an awesome move.
We shot this one a while ago, but it's time to finally let you see into our new space! Videos are going to look quite a bit different moving forward 😁
You should knock the wall down on the left hand side next to the steps and do some floating stairs. Only a few minutes into the video so I'm not sure if you did that or not.
I want to see the process of making the rooms
If you’re still looking into cabinets my uncle actually does cheap kitchens all over the tri-state area and beyond…. It’s called Express Kitchen & Bath if you wanna check it up
April fools
Wow
Definitely would like a series on the process of making each room 🙌

Hell yeah, I would LOVE to see the full process of you guys changing this place up. ❤
Absolutely love love this!! It really is going to be amazing to watch you convert this into a smart home and as an average consumer, I truly think this is more relatable than a studio. Keep pushing forward y’all are doing amazing!!! ❤❤❤
Hell yeah I need a series where you set everything up

That's pretty awesome House can wait to see it fully developed. You can buy a couple of LG 110UM5J-B UM5J 110-inch 4k TV's in the basement.
The extra bedroom should absolutely be VR. Pad some walls, set up some tracking sensors and no furniture, and make it a completely virtual space.
Firstly congratulations on the new studio. I like the approach you took getting a house.
I think that having the editors help make each desk their own personal space would be a fun video on its own. It allows the viewer a chance to get to know everyone else on the team better. Yes make a series building each room!
Yea y’all should make it into a series for all the rooms
Congratulations on your new home studio!!!
Yesss! Make it a series! It would be cool to see how everything turns out. Also seeing the progress would be cool
YES!! Would LOVE for you to make this into a series going room by room!
Put a big tv on the wall as a background with ambient light behind
Definitely show each room build from the ground up, then over time everyone can see the house grow and transform.
Super excited for you guys!
Sending big love from Australia
Makes perfect sense to use a house and not another studio tour. Congrats on the baby boy!👋🏾👍🏾✊🏾
Love the thought of having a home instead of a warehouse, it gives off the avg consumer vibes and it's smart. Can't wait to see the transformation in each room.

For sure make a series of the process! Nothing is more satisfying than seeing the progress! Congrats!
Yes make a series please!! Walk us through everything, that’s why we love UAC!
I work in construction and as ive come to realize is you want to essentially section off where your doing tasks so say your doing a phone you dont want to be walking up and down steps multiple times for one phone. You could have a bed in the gamers paradise, I think that would be really cool like you can game while laying down
Good to know this was shot earlier...
Yes, I want to see the transformation of each room from design concept and inspiration to layout and setup, next fully furnished and functioning.
Definitely would love to watch the whole process! I think it would be cool to make certain rooms similar to bedrooms etc so you can showcase different smart home products and how to apply it in everyone’s homes. Even the bathrooms!
Yes please we need a whole series on the build of the entire studio home. And all the work and costs it took to put it together
Love see it as a series and the process 🙌
Yes, you should create a how-to build-out series with a dedicated playlist. In the basement, add an additional half-bath with another egress. Dropping the floor would be an ideal remedy in the future. Wishing you and the team continued success. 😊
Please no barn doors ever! Love your channel, been watching the last 2 years. Big fan of the house tours and big unboxing videos.
Please turn this whole process into a series 🙏🏾
Absolutely make it a series!
Idea for the gamer paradise would be having a dedicated retro space. Getting the Nintendo, the wall art, the beanbag chair, all of it. Appreciation for where we came from when you wanna kick it old school!

Some part of the basement would be perfect for a personal home theater. It could do double duty as a space to review home theater gear.
Omg I was thinking the same thing. I didn’t know if I was a dumb idea or not so I didn’t comment it 😅🤣
Imagine the neighbors come over to say hi and introduce themselves but find out it’s a whole house for filming RUclips videos 😂
Huge congrats to you guys! So hyped to see what the future holds
Pumped to see the process of this spot being built out! Congrats on the new place
Let's see the entire set up as a series
The room upstairs could be a "home gym" set up where you guys test out workout and gym tech, the garage could be the one used for the top down shots room and have permanent set ups for the cameras and tables or it could be used as a room to review cars.
cant wait to see the final product happy for you guys - yes make this a series
I first came across your channel when I was living in Hawaii back 2012 and Beats headphones were new. Been here since , I’m old too😊❤. Love your channel , and happy for you and the squad.
id be down for a series on the process of the rooms
I would love to see each room being made over and the tech that is used in a full series. You could do with a massive tech unboxing area with its own storage space. Would love to see how you integrate some of the products you unbox in the massive tech unboxings. That's my favourite part of the channel.
Series, heck ya. Love me a good home makeover project. Basement all out video arcade gamers vibe. Old school meets new school. Arcade games, pin ball, console set ups with avg consumer spin.
Would like to see other tech like bbq or outdoor tech maybe the basement and garage to see cool projects
As for the extra room, you could try a Murphy bed(?) like a nicer one that would fold away so you can have the “bedroom set” as well as a full top down/B roll set. Maybe a desk on lockable casters so it can be moved within the room(?)

The way auto correct just destroyed my post, that I’m not about to fix 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤣🤣🤣
Don’t forget about the outdoor space to show outdoor lighting, automatic lawnmowers and drones.

I agree with another commenter. I'm sure you guys will make the basement work out in your favor. Those ceiling ducts could honestly add to the whole gamer aesthetic.
proud of you all, please make this a series!
Yes, Please make it a series. I wanna see everything come together. :)
The one room you were unsure of could be focused on new babies! That way you can show off that stuff without being invasive with your own home. Timing will be perfect with the new kid on the way. Stuff like monitors etc that new or first time parents might consider.
Compact and custom for your channel 🧡 🎉 congratulations I love seeing my favorite channels succeed and produce meaningful content.
definitely show the process of fixing up the house // smart move as anything you do will add value to the home -- very nice
Yes make a full series with the full setup videos. That would be nice to watch and learn. 😊
Full series please! I love your content by the way! I get a lot of inspiration and knowledge from your videos! Congratulations to (over) a decade! 😊💪🏾
Yes I would love to see videos every now and then on the process of each rooms.
In the basement I'd do some clear or frosted acrylic panels with back lighting behind it, make it feel like a gamers space...............and yes I'd love to see this as a series.
Wow looks awesome, can't wait to see how it evolves!
I think a House is a much better idea than a office . I'm loving this video
Hiding cables, how to make the wifi stronger, wireless devices, etc…
It looks awesome, great job.
Makes sooo... much sense!!! Most tech are in the house or home environment. Great idea!!!
Def make it a series bc it will give us future home owners an idea of how we should set up tech and such in a house
Yes make it a series…content, content, content. You’re the vanguard!!!
I would like to see a series of each room being set up.
Yes,this definitely should be a series.
I highly highly suggest you run whole home Ethernet cable in every room. That way you can have a mesh router in each room you need it and where you need be hard wired you can add a hub to hard wire several clients.
For the stair case make it touch sense that so each step lights up as you touch them or make them touch sense to play keys like a piano
I would love to see a series that showcases each room and the whole project of transforming the house into a studio!
Just an idea, the stairs being black wood, might be a really sick feature, RGB son the underside of the overhang on each step to also provide light
Make a series PLEASE!! That would be so cool
YES! Make videos on the setups. That would be pretty cool to watch.
Good Idea J you could have two barn doors, that are automatically open & close, also you could have automatic lights that could come on as you go up & down the stairs, that's just start with 👍🏻
Also would love to see as it progresses, that would be amazing
