    Oh Jill, these cards are beautiful. I especially like the pine cone card. I have to admit you're a much bigger person than I am! Had I stamped the pine cones in green ink, I would have spewed every foul word known to mankind (plus those I make up when I'm on a roll/lol) or started crying! Either way, I would have started over! I'm so happy to see it really did work as the pinecones are my favorite part. "That'll learn me" won't it!!! You never cease to amaze me. I will never understand how you can use your finger to wipe ink off a stamp without leaving some kind of fingerprint or smudge on your card! Your talents are endless! TFS your amazing skills.

    Very beautiful cards…thanks for not editing out when you placed green on the pinecones and then showed us how to correct the situation by just putting the brown over it. Personally I like seeing a peek of green on them…even more natural looking. You certainly are very talented.

    Jill I really love these cards. It is hard to have a favourite but the pine cones and the berries I especially love. You showed that even when you think a mistake has been made it is often a happy accident..the pine cones look great with the hint of green beneath the brown.What makes the cards all look magnificent though Jill is your painting skill. Thank you so much for this series of videos. never apolgise for them being a bit long, you cannot teach to the clock and they are so good and helpful to watch. 😊❣

    Beautiful cards! I have a small request - is it possible to put a stamp on a small clear block, hold it up sideways so it is eye level to camera and film you putting the ink on from that side so we can see a different view of you applying the ink to the stamp? I keep watching when you ink but only see the top of the mini cube pouncing and it seems you place the whole pad onto the stamp but you say you are using the tips of the ink pad - would love to see this as it seems so easy but just seeing a side view may help. Thank you so much for this series - it is so useful. I love the edge cutter that looks like deckle torn edge. Now I must shop, bye.

      Thank you so much for your feedback! It is not easy to rig up the camera, lighting, etc in my small space but will keep this in mind next time I'm filming, especially with this style of brushstroke stamping. I really value what you said and your perspective!

    More masterpieces! I also love the Tombow markers, they’ve become my faves for watercolor, along with my Zigs. Your project grouping is a great idea. My ADHD brain makes it hard to stop adding just one more little thing or making small changes & l end up with a perpetual card that takes a week to finish. 😵‍💫 Your instructions are great & easy to follow, if only mine turned out like yours. 🤪 💖👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻👍🏼

    What is brushstroke stamping?

    • @PennyBlackInc
      @PennyBlackInc  Год назад

      Thanks for your questions! Brushstroke stamps are stamps with images that are solid/silhouette style as opposed to images that are outline-style. In this video, the poinsettia, berries, and pinecone stamps are brushstroke/silhouette stamps. The coloring is done on the stamp itself and then pressed onto the paper as opposed to an outline stamp where you would just stamp the outline (usually in black or brown ink) and then color it in. Hope this makes sense! :)
