I met Leonard Nimoy and he photographed my father, my sister and me for his book Secret Selves I think it's called shortly before he passed. I went to say hello to him and I was completely starstruck, I was a background actor and I've met plenty of "stars" but for some reason, because I was so used to him in my mind from childhood, and his character was so compelling. My mind was like: "You are talking to Mr. Spock, you are talking to Mr. Spock".....I blabbered something about being a fan...but I literally could not process meeting him in real life. It was strange. I'm also really impressed by Flip Wilson, this was before my time, but it was such an innocent time, I would have loved to have lived in it as an adult.
